WYNDHAM GARDEN ZHANGJIAJIE TIANMEN MOUNTAIN

The room was clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic. The butler was incredibly patient and responsive to all our requests, helping us book restaurants, collect and send packages. They also provided detailed explanations of itineraries, which helped us avoid any potential issues.

Everything was good, except that the swimming pool was temporarily closed. My child wanted a hotel with a pool, but we didn't get one. If the pool is going to be closed, it should be stated in the hotel's information; this lowers the expected facility standards.

Very good, the scenery is also great. It's a good place to bring kids; you can explore the attractions in the morning and swim in the pool in the afternoon. The breakfast was quite rich, and both kids received breakfast vouchers. Excellent.

I used to have a good impression of Wyndham, but after this stay, I decided not to book any more Wyndham hotels for the rest of my trip. The reason is that this Wyndham hotel is on a busy street. The mountain view rooms are more expensive than other room types, but they were noisy due to their street-facing location, with constant car horns and general street noise. The worst part was the strong smell in the room. I had to keep the windows and curtains wide open all night for ventilation, but even that couldn't mask the renovation smell. I'm not sure what kind of low-quality materials were used. Because the curtains were open, the room was very bright due to its street-facing position, and coupled with the strong smell, I barely slept all night 😫 Also, the room was advertised as 38 square meters, but it felt really small. Besides the bed, there was hardly any space for a suitcase on the floor. There was only a narrow path next to the bed, just enough for one person to pass. I specifically checked 38-square-meter rooms in other hotels, and they were completely different. Compared to those, this room was indeed much smaller. To get to the cable car station for the scenic area, there's a small path behind the hotel that takes about a 10-minute walk.
