La Folie Douce Hotels Chamonix

Location: quite far away from train station, about 10-15 mins walk Breakfast: very good indeed Overall: not bad, but not really good indeed. Their drinking water service in the lobby is always out of water, even if you ask for it. They just told me they would refill soon, but I have never seen it filled with water until I checked out.

One of the most unforgettable experiences in Chamonix! The atmosphere at La Folie Douce is absolutely amazing — lively, fun and full of energy. The mountain views are spectacular, and it’s such a unique place to enjoy good food and drinks while surrounded by the Alps. The music and entertainment really made the experience special. Even if you’re not a big party person, I think it’s worth visiting just for the incredible scenery and atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit in Chamonix! 🏔️✨

Good position and good service

The staff at the reception could be friendlier. Other that that, it’s a nice hotel with great and unique design

Reception staff on the front desk appear to be jaded. Early check-ins, even by 5 minutes, aren’t possible. Good facilities.

Proper icon. My experience here was great. Room was nice but only issue was no AC

The location was great to get around the main central street and kids loved the bunker beds but the space was a little bit small.

It's not my first time in this hotel. I've always enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Service people are all very nice. The reception people are very helpful and everyone who works there are just friendly in general. I think the windows need a little more love, they are chipping off. Also, hopefully there is a solution to the heat. No AC is torture - or at least have a fan, some hotels in Cham, have fans. When you open the window, bugs come by, when you don't, it's really hot. Loved our view from our room, btw, thank you!
