Otaru Snow Light Path(Otaru Snow Light Path Festival)

Every winter around February, Otaru in the northern country ushered in the season of ice-covered snow drifting. On the Otaru Canal, glass floats (floating balls) that used to be tied to fishing nets will float on the Otaru Canal. Candles are lit in the floating balls. Charming candles shone on the mirror-like water of the canal, creating a romantic winter scene in Otaru against the snow. Many tourists come here to watch this beautiful scenery.
