Francisco I Boutique

This was our second time staying at the beautiful Hotel Francisco I. The hotel is located very close to Puerta Del Sol, in the middle of Madrid; so easy to get to the main attraction, like the Placa Mayor. the Palace, the Museo de Prado, etc. All the staff at the hotel - by name we know Emilio and Augusto, from the Front Desk, - are very friendly, helpful and efficient. We will definitely stay at this lovely hotel when we return to Madrid, the capital and exact center of Spain 🇪🇸. Thank you, Dr Franz G J Schmitt

Location was perfect. Right in between Plaza Mayor and Puerta Del Sol. But also not so close that it was loud if anything was going on at Sol (was there recently during pride). Very walkable to major tourist attractions. Rooms were nice. Bed was comfy. Appreciated the breakfast in the morning which had quite a bit of variety. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great location for walking to popular tourist sites. Wonderful breakfast. Staff very helpful with my food allergies the first time I ate breakfast. (We spent 5 nights) Clean room. Enough room to move around. I missed not having washcloths, but this is not common in Spain. I also prefer bar soap to body wash on my face due to fragrances, but I had no issues with my skin.

Charming , sophisticated gem in Madrid. Even under construction the hotel was impeccable. Can’t wait to see it completed. We loved our Top floor terrace with sun loungers and outdoor shower. The staff at breakfast and the staff in the lounge at night bend over backwards to accommodate. Remembering preferences. We stayed 5 days and loved it. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices. Lovely hotel!

I was so happy I booked this hotel. It was my first solo trip and wanted a hotel in the center of the city. It was THE BEST location. I walked everywhere. Breakfast was delicious. Love the Spanish omelette:) . Staff was awesome. I HIGHLY recommend Francisco 1. Gracias!
