The owner was absolutely wonderful, very patient in answering all our questions, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local attractions. You can ask him anything! The service was exceptionally thoughtful, attentive, and meticulous. The guesthouse itself is lovely, very spacious and comfortable. It even has a skylight, which is great for stargazing at night, haha! Plus, there's 24-hour oxygen supply, so no worries about altitude sickness, along with humidifiers and other very complete amenities. The owner is truly fantastic and offers free airport pick-up or drop-off. I'll definitely book this place again next time! What's more, this guesthouse is right inside the ancient town, so you can step out directly to find food and go shopping, which is super convenient. They even offer hot milk or brown sugar ginger tea in the evenings. When there are fewer guests, the owner might even offer a free room upgrade, which was a delightful surprise. I stayed here for all four days and three nights in Shangri-La and didn't experience any altitude sickness, haha. Very satisfied ☺️

I highly recommend staying here! The owner is incredibly hospitable, and the breakfast is fantastic. Shangri-La has wide temperature swings, and we hadn't brought enough warm clothes. The owner quickly urged us to order fleece-lined pants for delivery, telling us not to suffer through it. They even provide fruit and hot tea, the environment is lovely, and the rooms are very clean. I was so grateful to be staying at this guesthouse when I felt unwell during my period a few days later. I was able to rest comfortably, and the heating was fully supplied – excellent!

Stumbled upon an incredible B&B in Dukezong Ancient City! It has a Moroccan-style courtyard and a transparent boat in the pool, perfect for photos. It's only a 10-minute walk to the Giant Prayer Wheel. 🛏️ **Room amenities are top-notch:** The rooms are spacious and beautiful, each equipped with medical-grade oxygen, so no worries about altitude sickness. There's also whole-house voice control and zero-pressure mattresses. 🥣 **Service is super attentive:** Free station pick-up/drop-off, freshly made breakfast, and afternoon tea with fruit. The place also has adorable cats!

The owner's service was exceptional! Shangri-La was the most satisfying part of our Yunnan trip. We received a call from the driver as soon as we arrived at the high-speed train station, and they patiently waited for us. After check-in, the owner's wife warmly offered us afternoon tea and fruits, which were both delicious and heartwarming. The room was full of thoughtful details, fully equipped with smart home features. Even the toilet seat cover and rose petals for a bath were provided, not to mention everything else. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the oxygen concentrator was a lifesaver; we kept it on all night and felt no signs of altitude sickness. On our second day, the owner's wife meticulously planned our itinerary for us. It was truly heartwarming. After traveling from Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang, Shangri-La felt the best, perhaps because of the people. Before we left, the owner's wife even gave us a souvenir. Thank you! The room was great, very comfortable, and conveniently located near the Old Town and Guishan Park. The hostess was super enthusiastic; on our first day, I was suffering from altitude sickness, and she prepared Rhodiola oral solution, hot milk, and ginger tea for us. She even helped us arrange a car to the high-speed train station. Service was top-notch! 🥰 Plus, there are three adorable cats on the first floor that you can pet! 🐈
