The location is great, nestled between Hankyu Shijo-Omiya and Karasuma, making it easy to walk to both. This is super convenient for getting between Osaka Umeda and Kyoto Kawaramachi. Plus, there's a Shijo-Horikawa bus stop right downstairs that goes to Kyoto Station. Overall, it's very convenient, and the facilities are complete, including a thoughtful luggage storage service! Excellent value for money.

Breakfast was good, with both Japanese and Western options, and for Chinese, there were mini meat buns or siu mai, and one day they even had congee. The closest Hankyu Omiya Station is just a 5-minute walk away, making it super convenient to get to Osaka. Daimaru and Takashimaya department stores are also within walking distance. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and tea, and there's a large public bath on the second floor. For this price, it's truly a rare find and highly recommended!

Great stay from day one. Free drinks at the lobby, free spa, helpful staff (I forgot my room card and they opened it for me), and laundry is only ¥500 wash+dry. 5–8 mins walk to the station, Family Mart next door and plenty of cafes nearby. Highly recommend.

Good location for many amenity and walking distance to different attraction sites. Fast check-in and front desk staff are helpful. Room is big and comfortable. Cleanliness can be better as dust could be spotted on the wall and the hanging lamp. Will be good if can provide 2 pillows instead of 1. Cons: when walked into the main lobby, the whole place smell of cigarette odour.

I stayed at Urban Hotel Kyoto Shijo Premium for two nights and had a really enjoyable experience.
