New Otani Inn Sapporo

Extremely close to the Sapporo Snow Festival and JR Station, with convenient shopping nearby. The breakfast selection is quite good, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. The price is also very reasonable. The only thing that could be improved is that, unlike other hotels, they don't offer complimentary bottled water.

From the moment you're greeted, to the front desk, and the overall architecture, everything exudes a sense of grandeur and luxury. It feels very upscale. The facilities are what you'd expect from a well-established star-rated hotel, and the location is absolutely prime, making it convenient to get anywhere. The night view from the upper floors is particularly beautiful. You can pretty much book this place without a second thought. Once again, I applaud my hotel-picking skills!

This was my second stay here. The hotel facilities are all good, and this room was even a bit bigger than the last one. The surrounding area is also convenient, though it's a bit far from Sapporo Station. Since it was snowing heavily, dragging luggage was quite difficult. Also, there were suddenly a lot more people at breakfast, and we had to queue for over 15 minutes two days in a row. Aside from the distance, I'd recommend it...

The hotel's location is quite close to Sapporo JR Station, and I only stayed one night. The price was cheap, and the room was spacious. However, the hygiene wasn't good; the bath towels and regular towels were yellowish, which was very off-putting.

The lobby was nicer than the room facilities. The room size was okay, but I noticed several stains on the duvet, which made it feel not very clean. The service attitude was decent. The location was also good, but despite the significant temperature difference between indoors and outdoors in Sapporo, the room still felt stuffy.
