New Otani Inn Sapporo

The hotel's location is super convenient; it's within walking distance to the train station, major attractions, Odori Park, and shopping areas. The room size is quite spacious for Japan, but the furnishings are a bit dated. They claim the breakfast is varied, but after traveling around Hokkaido for half a month, I didn't find anything particularly special about it. What was really unpleasant was having to queue for twenty minutes just to get breakfast, which was a real waste of time.

The facilities are a bit old, especially the air conditioning. I had to turn it off at night because it was a bit noisy, but luckily it wasn't hot. Everything else was fine, and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The service was also good.

Extremely close to the Sapporo Snow Festival and JR Station, with convenient shopping nearby. The breakfast selection is quite good, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. The price is also very reasonable. The only thing that could be improved is that, unlike other hotels, they don't offer complimentary bottled water.

From the moment you're greeted, to the front desk, and the overall architecture, everything exudes a sense of grandeur and luxury. It feels very upscale. The facilities are what you'd expect from a well-established star-rated hotel, and the location is absolutely prime, making it convenient to get anywhere. The night view from the upper floors is particularly beautiful. You can pretty much book this place without a second thought. Once again, I applaud my hotel-picking skills!
