Earl's Regency Hotel

The hotel is located in the beautiful countryside. The staff was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. I liked Ilon's entrance. They asked me about allergies, and the next day, they made sure I was well taken care of during breakfast. I’d stay there again.

A wonderful stay with absolutely breathtaking views. Wherever you look, you’re surrounded by rolling mountains, and the grounds are beautiful with lots of native wildlife; you really feel at one with nature. The service was exceptional throughout. All staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely eager to help. A special mention to the reception team, especially Jenovia, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, showing us around and making us feel very welcome from the start. The hotel is also very family-friendly, with a small play park and thoughtful touches like towel animals from housekeeping (Ravi) that made our little girl’s day. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, including both Western and Sri Lankan options. A few very small improvements (such as having bacon readily available, colder milk at breakfast, and ice with poolside drinks) would make the experience truly five-star, but these are minor details. Rooms were clean and comfortable with all amenities provided, and overall the level of service really stood out. If you’re looking for stunning views, a peaceful setting, and excellent hospitality, this is a fantastic choice and one I’d happily recommend.

Stayed was one night, hairdryer in room didn’t work properly and no hot water in morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Food on site excellent

We loved this hotel to the point we would return to Kandy to stay here again! The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional, the hotel and rooms were all clean and well maintained and the food at both dinner and breakfast was delicous. Overall we loved out stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. *we also bought some jewelry from the shop in the hotel which was good too.

Beautiful hotel with brrathtaking room views. Service aas awesome, food was homely and the memories made... priceless.

My arrival date was 28-11-25 si I couldn’t go to the hotel in Kandy because of the flooding. I found the Earl’s Regent in Negombo so I thought they are sister hotels and maybe able to transfer the booking to the Negombo branch unfortunately no so I lost the money I already paid.They were not helpful at all.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel.  We stayed one night.  Only complaint we have no welcome drinks offered, we had to ask for it.  Amazing garden views, it had small water falls, food menu is excellent lots to choose from.  It had gem jewellery.
