The location is excellent, directly connected to Hakata Station East Exit 7. I really enjoyed the hotel's facilities. You can relax in the onsen and the pool with a view. The hotel also offers luxurious amenities that are hard to find in Japan.

New hotel right opposite Hakata station Chikushi exit. Easier to walk aboveground as hotel is within view. There is a link underground fr station but may be confusing to find. We stayed in a triple room and it was spacious and comfortable with separate rooms for toilet and shower. Individually packed toiletries were provided. Only thing I found missing was disposable shower caps which was unusual for a hotel. Lots of restaurants and shops in Hakata station and surrounds. If you have to return a car to Avis/Budget, shop is 5 mins walk away.
