V nice hostel. Best option to stay in NYC. Staff is super nice, place is super clean, amenities are provided as a good hostel provides. Would love to visit here back.

It was a pretty good place to stay for solo travel.
But there are several things you need to check before you choose this place.
First, there is a possibility that you couldn't use the same room.
I booked the hostel and the manager asked me to change my room on my second day of the trip. It was hard to clean and repack everything in the morning. If you book more than three days, they could change your room. So just make sure about it.
Second, I recommend bringing your waterproof slippers.
You need to use the shared bathroom and shower facilities. It could be wet when you bring normal shoes.
If you don't mind, it's ok. But if not, please bring your slippers for your convenience 🙂👋✨️

After a grueling 30+ hour connecting flight, I was absolutely exhausted when I arrived at the hotel in the morning and couldn't check in immediately. Luckily, the front desk staff was very kind; they offered me towels and directed me upstairs to shower, which instantly made me feel a lot better. This hostel has a great atmosphere, and there's a small Chinese restaurant across the street that served the cheapest meal I found nearby: beef and broccoli with rice for $9. Overall, I was quite satisfied, except for the old air conditioner which was incredibly noisy.

Finding accommodation in New York with kids can be a real headache. On one hand, hotels in central Manhattan are super expensive; on the other, the affordable options are often quite far from downtown. That's why we chose this place. I also wanted my child to experience a multicultural society. We booked a 12-person mixed dorm, and the guests were generally very respectful and quiet. There were no strange behaviors like smoking or eating in the room, which was a huge plus. Overall, we were very satisfied. The hostel has a very spacious common area and an amazing backyard, perfect for just sitting and relaxing. There's even a ping-pong table in the yard, and my son and I played a few rounds. The lobby also has a pool table that guests can use freely. For breakfast, you can either buy something in the lobby or head across the street for more options. All in all, it was a good experience.

The building is quite spacious, spanning six or seven floors. There's a communal kitchen in the basement where you can cook your own meals, and they even provide some basic ingredients. They also have a common area, which is great for meeting international guests. Highly recommended! ;)

The bedding was complete, and the location was acceptable with a subway station nearby. The shared bathroom was used by many people, so it wasn't very clean. Overall, it still offered good value for money. It's perfectly fine for a few days of solo travel.
