Fairfield by Marriott Xining

The cleanliness was terrible, absolutely horrible! You could see rusty water stains on the shower controls that couldn't even be wiped off. The curtains had holes in them, which made me wonder how that even happened—could it have been chewed by mice? After we checked out, my family also mentioned that the gap between the bed and the wall was covered in thick dust. Take a look at the rubber seal of the washing machine in the laundry room; the smell was foul and lingered throughout the entire room. If you are traveling and planning to do laundry midway, just give up. What's even more concerning is: if the guest laundry room is in this state, how filthy must the facility be where they wash the bedsheets? There is no underground parking. The designated parking is an open lot next to an abandoned factory—or something like that—about a 200-meter walk from the hotel. The service was terrible, specifically referring to the staff member on the left side of the front desk on September 30th. Totally incompetent, disorganized, and completely brushed off our concerns. I previously had a great stay at the Fairfield in Wuhan, but this Fairfield in Xining has completely ruined my impression of the entire city.

The room is spacious, clean, and the soundproofing is excellent. The service attitude is very good, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and tastes delicious! 👍

This was our chosen hotel upon arriving in Xining. The hotel was quite clean, the stay was relatively quiet, and it offered good value for money. The kids also liked it. Overall, I would recommend it.

The hotel's location, well, there's not much to say. There are very few places to eat within a 2km radius, and delivery fees for food are around 4-5 yuan. I blame myself for not doing enough research. The front desk staff had a great attitude, but!! How can such a large hotel have a clogged bathroom? I was showering and suddenly my feet were soaking in water. Then, in the middle of showering at night, I had to call maintenance to fix it. The hotel's parking lot looked like a junk collection yard. And then, as I was about to go to sleep, an auntie came to deliver water in the middle of the night. I don't know who requested it, but the front desk must have marked the wrong room.

The first stop on the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, the location is convenient, not far from Xiaguan and very close to the museum. The hotel's facilities are great, and it offers excellent value for money. The room was clean and very convenient.

The room was really comfortable, and the lady at the front desk was super nice. She even recommended some great local food spots. The breakfast had a lot of local flavor too, and I'd definitely suggest trying their special milk tea. Overall, it's a highly recommended place for a trip.

The service was great, and the hotel was clean and hygienic. As a Marriott member, I usually choose their properties. The front desk even called in advance to ask about our guest preferences. The only downside was that parking was a bit far, which made lugging luggage back and forth inconvenient. Also, it was hard to maneuver cars at the entrance.
