No smart toilet, but the bathroom is spacious enough and comes with a Dyson hairdryer, which is great! 🎉🎉 ## Hygiene: Clean and hygienic, very satisfied. 💦✔️ ## Environment: Located in Dukezong Ancient Town, it's about a 15-minute walk to Guishan Park. It's also not too far from Songzanlin Monastery and Pudacuo National Park, making it convenient for getting around. ✔️✔️ ## Service: Service is top-notch! The hotel's shuttle bus is available on-call, which is incredibly convenient. 👍👍 I must commend the hotel's breakfast. It's not only extensive but also features local specialties, perfect for us tourists to sample a variety of dishes at once. The restaurant's location is superb, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the ancient town – truly a feast for the eyes. ❤️👍👍 We arrived and departed in a rush. Although we only stayed for one night, we were very satisfied. ✌️✌️ If we ever go back to Diqing, the Indigo will definitely be our top choice. ❤️❤️

The hotel's location is superb, and the terrace is absolutely stunning. The service was also excellent. Mark proactively contacted me a day in advance, and knowing I had children, he prepared many amenities for them. Lhamo at the front desk was also very kind, and when we left, she even gave us a lucky knot and a customized indigo fridge magnet, which are beautiful!

Upon arriving, a bellboy greeted us outside the lobby. However, when he saw we had a tour leader with us, he stopped offering to help with our luggage. We booked a 'boutique room,' but the window was quite small, and the overall room size was on the smaller side. The diffused oxygen supply showed the room's oxygen equivalent altitude was still high at 2850 meters, even reaching 2900 meters at night, so predictably, I still experienced altitude sickness. I stayed in the room from check-in until check-out, but there were always one or two trash bags outside the window, obstructing the view. When I discussed this with the front desk upon departure, they compensated us by waiving the cost of a relatively inexpensive in-room dining meal. The in-room dining menu didn't have many options, but the sirloin steak and pizza were decent. The room service was excellent; despite the cold outside, the food arrived perfectly hot. Since my child also suffered from altitude sickness, the hotel kindly allowed us a late check-out until 2 PM, which was very thoughtful. I hope they can increase the oxygen supply to make it more comfortable for newcomers.

This hotel is located at an altitude of 3300 meters! The floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby are a highlight, offering a stunning view of the entire ancient city! I bought a package that included a delicious hot pot dinner! The room facilities are complete, and there's oxygen supply. The breakfast was unique, though not quite to my taste. The front desk staff were very nice and patient with children!

The room was comfortable, and we were given a room directly facing the old city. Pulling back the curtains revealed a superb view, and I had the best night's sleep of the entire trip. Our butler, Miss Diqing Indigo, provided attentive and thoughtful service throughout our stay, and even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel restaurant was excellent; we ate all three meals there and it was absolutely worth it.

From pre-arrival communication to check-out, I was treated with such care and attention, making the entire experience absolutely outstanding! Before departing, I called the hotel to inquire about my itinerary. Emma, the person who answered the phone, patiently addressed all my questions. The communication was smooth and thoughtful. The hotel even upgraded my room directly! Stepping into the room, I was instantly amazed – exquisite Tibetan-style decor was everywhere. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows and private balcony overlooked the highest point of Dukezong Ancient Town. I could lie in bed and take in a panoramic view of the entire ancient town, with the Big Buddha Temple and prayer wheel in Guishan Park clearly visible. In the distance, I could even catch a glimpse of the plateau mountains. At sunset, the light and shadows cast over the rooftops of the ancient town made every photo wallpaper-worthy. The hotel's location is also impeccable, situated in the core area of the ancient town. A few minutes' walk brings you into the ancient town's streets, and you can return to the hotel to rest anytime you get tired from exploring. It's also very convenient to reach attractions like Songzanlin Monastery and Pudacuo. The hotel's shuttle service was always available when called, and it was easy to get a taxi or drive yourself, so I didn't have to worry about transportation at all. I also want to thank the staff, especially the front desk attendant (name unknown) and Emma, whose warmth and attentiveness made my trip feel extra special. The attendant explained the hotel facilities and local sightseeing tips in detail during check-in. At check-out, Emma was all smiles and incredibly friendly. Whether it was asking about changing my airport transfer time, modifying a booking, or storing luggage, they responded quickly, even proactively offering a small souvenir fridge magnet. The professionalism and thoughtfulness were evident in every detail. From the Tibetan-inspired room design and unbeatable views to the convenient transportation and warm service, this hotel met all my expectations for accommodation in Shangri-La. The next time I come to Shangri-La, I will definitely choose this place again, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip there!
