Hoshino Resorts KAI Okuhida

The facilities are beautiful, as expected from Hoshino Resorts. However, the public bath was smaller than I imagined. It's also very convenient for getting to Kamikochi.

The room with a private hot spring was truly excellent. The public hot spring is quite small, so I definitely recommend choosing a room with your own. The food was decent; you won't be disappointed, but it's not particularly amazing either. Overall, it's a great choice for families with kids!

The service attitude was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious, and we were very satisfied with the dining options. There were also activities to participate in, but we checked in late and missed them. We'll definitely come back next time.

The decor is modern and the price is reasonable, but the facilities aren't particularly outstanding.

The hotel is located near Hirayu Onsen in Okuhida Onsen, in a tranquil and very comfortable environment. It seems there's a shuttle service available, but I didn't need it as I was driving.

Overall, it was very good. Except for the food, which was really bad. I haven't had any good food at any of the Hoshino Resorts hotels I've stayed at so far. I can only say that the food at Hoshino Resorts is really bad.
