The location is superb! Everything is so convenient, just opposite Flinders Train Station, tram stop is just few steps away. The bfast buffet is great 👍🏻. Service is amazing. Super clean room! Great value for money! Will definitely stay here whenever I’m in Melbourne again 😍

Stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne – Flinders Street for a short city break. The location is excellent, directly opposite Flinders Street Station and within easy walking distance of Federation Square, the Yarra River, restaurants and Melbourne's laneways. The hotel itself is functional rather than impressive. It appears to be a converted office building, which means the layout is a little different from purpose-built hotels and there are no particularly memorable views despite the prime location. The room was comfortable enough, but the finishes and fixtures lacked the polished feel I've experienced at other DoubleTree properties. Business travellers looking for a more premium or contemporary fit-out may find it falls short of expectations. During our stay there was an issue with our baggage, however the staff handled the situation professionally, resolved the problem and provided complimentary drink vouchers as a goodwill gesture, which was appreciated. One disappointment was that the gym was closed during our stay, as this is a facility I normally like to use when travelling. Overall, the hotel's strongest selling point is its outstanding location. It works well as a tourist base for exploring Melbourne, but business travellers who prioritise hotel facilities, room finishes and a more modern feel may prefer some of the newer hotels in the CBD.

Stayed for 8 nights during our recent Melbourne trip. It was a good stay from start to end. The front desk offered warm cookies upon our arrival at night, which help tide our stomachs before dinner. Hotel staff were pleasant and attentive throughout our stay. Room was clean and spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. We were surprised by a free bottle of white wine in the room, which we had the pleasure of enjoying in the park. Room was cleaned daily with daily change of towels. Hotel even arranged for travel adapters for us when we discovered ours wasn’t suitable for Australia. Hotel amenities are only provided upon request, but they were delivered quickly or left in room, per our requests. There is no drinking water provided in room but you can refill your water bottle from the hotel bar in the lobby. Hotel location is excellent, along Flinders St, right opposite the station. Plenty of cafes, food, marts and tram stops nearby. Hotel was also near all our pick-up points for all our day trips. Only suggestion is to install a proper shower screen/ door, as it gets cold when showering at night and the toilet area gets wet and slippery after a shower. Otherwise, highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Melbourne!

Kudos to the team and staff members of Double Tree by Hilton Melbourne for their excellent service and hospitality. The amenities in the hotel were well maintained and room was clean too! The location of this hotel is also fantastic, just right in front of flinders street train station with multiple tram stops nearby. Making it very convenient to get around the CBD.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I could ask for. The location was also excellent — convenient and close to everything I wanted to explore. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the property. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a pleasant stay.
