This serene location looking up at Shawangunk Mountains in Gardiner, NY. Soothing sounds of nearby Wallkill River from the deck will lull you away from your busy life into a forest world. The space
Open floor plan with 2 bedrooms, well-appointed kitchen, living room, and bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a 1/2 private bathroom with a private deck out back with a fenced in yard. Vaulted ceiling in the kitchen and living room. Both bedrooms have queen memory form mattress with plenty blankets to snuggle to on those cool Hudson Valley nights. Wrap around deck with soothing sounds of nearby brook or take a quick hike down to the riverside. Large couch right in front of the wood burning stove. Wi-Fi, A/C, smart tv with Netflix for those nights you want to stay in.

The organic farm across the road from the property is open seasonally and sells excellent produce. And our dead end street leads to one of the most scenic walkover bridges in New Paltz: the Dodd’s Farm overlook. While there, try to spot the eagle who enjoys perching on the big craggy tree beside the creek! 23.7 miles of hiking/biking starts right out the back door and connects Rosendale to Gardner, and the amazing new River to Ridge (R2R) trail and more!

“The Gunks” is one of the premiere rock-climbing areas in the country and the house is only minutes from hiking and climbing areas.
Please review the following guidelines regarding the Hot Tub:
- children are not permitted in hot tubs at any time without adult supervision.
- When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.
- DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVER. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you will be charged for replacement.
- please minimize use of body lotions or oils while in the tub.
- **very importantly** please replace the cover on the tub when not using it + ensure the tub is fully covered and straps are buckled.
- The hot tub is heated for six hours a day, typically from 12:00 pm- 2:00pm and 6:00pm to 10:00pm. If you’d prefer it to be heated at a different time during your stay, please let me know in advance and I’d be happy to adjust the schedule. It heats up to a temperature of about 104°. (The temperature cannot be controlled by the panel on the tub, please do not touch the buttons otherwise the tub will go into service mode and will stop working.)
