Hotel Monte Hermana Fukuoka

The room size is quite decent for a Japanese hotel. The location is very close to the Tenjin shopping district, making shopping extremely convenient. The hotel service was also good, but there was no complimentary coffee provided, so you need to buy your own outside.

The room was extremely clean and cleaned daily. The facilities are relatively new, and the service was quite good. There are paid laundry facilities available, and it's about a 5-minute walk to the subway station. Overall, I am quite satisfied. It's not far from the Ichiran Ramen main store and the Canal City night market.

The room was very clean. The hotel is conveniently located near Watanabedori Station for easy transportation. There are restaurants nearby, including a cafe and a 7-Eleven convenience store. The hotel does not provide skincare products. The tea bags offered in the lobby are very good; I recommend the honey black tea.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Tenjin shopping area and around 6 to 8 minutes to Canal City Hakata—super convenient! There are plenty of yatai (food stalls) and convenience stores nearby, as well as a large Aeon supermarket that stays open late. The breakfast is definitely worth trying! It was lavish and delicious. Since we went a bit late, we were able to use our meal vouchers at the neighboring sister hotel, Hotel Monterey. We were so full that we ended up skipping lunch. The freshly cooked Miyazaki beef made on-site was incredibly fragrant and tasty, and the sweet potatoes were wonderfully sweet, too.

The hotel's location is great; my friends and I walked to Tenjin Underground Shopping Center every day to browse and eat. The room size was just right, and even though there were several tour groups, the soundproofing was excellent, so we barely heard any noise. Plus, pajamas were provided, which was a thoughtful touch. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning in the room was quite loud, even when set to 'quiet.' 😂 My friends and I didn't sleep well the first night, but we got used to it over the next two days. The photo shows a ramen shop just a three-minute walk from the hotel – delicious!

The wagyu beef was delicious, especially after being cooked for over half its recommended time.
