This is more of a business-style hotel. The front desk area is small, but there's a coffee shop right next to it, so you can enjoy a coffee and some sun after checking in. For Chongqing in October, this price point is definitely great value for money. It's located with Atour, but even though it's called Sheraton Chongqing North Station, it's actually a bit of a distance from the North Station itself. Twice, the taxi drivers drove directly to the Atour next to the North Station. The hotel is relatively new, right next to a subway station, and it's easy to call a car. Breakfast is decent, pretty standard. I arrived at the hotel at noon and surprisingly, there was a room available for immediate check-in, which was incredibly thoughtful.

This corner room has three windows, making it very bright and airy. The afternoon sun made it a little warm, but the views from the windows more than made up for these minor flaws. As for the in-room facilities and service, you can absolutely trust Sheraton on that front. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and even had some innovative options – I overate both mornings.
