Hotel is located about 15 minute walk from East Gate Entrance. Nice spacious room. Simple but pleasant breakfast provided on rooftop each morning

The location was okay. But the price is high with compared to other hotels that we stayed near the same area within 2 km radius.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to both Avatar Mountain entrance, as well as Tianzi road where you have a lot of food options. If you'd choose a hotel closer to the entrance of the park, then you would have a bigger distance to the Tianzi Road. From this hotel to both you have around 15 minutes walk. The staff is really nice and helpful and offers free breakfast (buffet) in the morning. The breakfast is simple and the same every morning, but it is filling enough for you to have energy for mountain adventures. But if you have a room on the 4th floor it might be a little noisy because of the breakfast and cleaning service, if you would like to sleep in a little more than 7/8 am. We particularly loved the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of Wulingyuan and surrounding mountains. Perfect place to relax and eat. Our room had a swinging chair and bathtub on the balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. There is information that if you need anything you can ask at the front desk (let it be an umbrella or even a sewing kit). You can play pool for free, which is also nice if this is something you enjoy (we did). Overall, a very nice stay that makes you feel welcome like at home.

Here the receptionist talks very fluent English ,she understood our questions immediately and explained how to plan the attractions and got our tickets booked for all attractions with discounted prices. They're very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those seeking cheaper hotels with complimentary breakfast and best service.

Great location!! Everything was perfect and the receptionist was super lovely… I have to say, I wish the breakfast had more options but otherwise everything perfect!

Incredible place to stay, the rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and nice. The views from our balcony room were nice and the views from the rooftop were breathtaking, you get to look over the town with the mountains around you. 10/10 place to stay, will definitely be returning here

A Dated Stay with Some Redeeming Features (5/10) We booked this hotel based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn't quite match the 9.5/10 rating we saw online. The property feels like a dated mountain chalet from the 90s. While it has some nice wooden architectural details that give it character, the overall condition is quite worn. The rooms and common areas are in desperate need of a deep clean, a fresh coat of paint, and general maintenance. There was also a noticeable musty smell throughout the property. Additionally, the breakfast was practically non-existent, so be prepared to explore outside the hotel for your morning meals. Wulingyuan as a destination also felt a bit tired, which didn't help the overall experience. On a positive note, if you are traveling with a group of friends, the lobby area is a decent place to hang out. They have a pool table and a fridge stocked with beer (available for purchase), which is convenient after a long day. I understand that running a hospitality business is challenging and renovations require significant capital. However, I think a more realistic rating for this guesthouse would be around a 5/10 in its current state.

Absolutely loved our stay here, very helpful staff in booking and assisting us with park tickets, great location easy walk to night life and restaurants etc, pool table free to use as well!

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights to visit the Zhangjiajie national forest park and Tianmen Mountain. The hotel is located a little 20-25 minutes walk from the East gate of the Zhangjiajie national forest park, but to get to any other gate you will need to take a Didi since it's too far away and public transport (busses) will not take you to the entrances or outside of the Wulingyuan district (we found no bus connecting Wulingyuan district and Zhangjiajie city). The room was pretty clean, but the sheets smelled like other people and had stains and cigarette burn marks on them. The people at the front desk were helpful and spoke English, however, they immediately tried to sell us things while we just wanted to go to our room and rest. The hill that the hotel is on is steep and we knew the moment we arrived it would be too much after a day of hiking in the mountains. The breakfast was okay, there were two types of noodles you could get, some fruit, and fried rice. The view from the 5th floor breakfast terrace was super nice! Overall an okay experience, nothing over the top. We did notice a lot of other hotels had commuting services to all entrances of the different parks, so if you don't want to spend extra money on a Didi while you're there, maybe look for a hotel that offers these services.
