A charming resort right by the beach. My room has the most amazing sunrise view. But do take note, it’s an eco-friendly resort, so there’s no phone, TV or minibar. Every request is done through WhatsApp. Its own restaurant has quite the menu to sate your appetite, though there are tons of eateries outside on the main street. The best place to relax and switch off from the world.

Tolles, kleines Hotel. Zimmer sind alle nur ein paar Meter entfernt vom Strand und sehr zentral in der Mitte der Strandpromenade gelegen. Im näheren Umkreis gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants oder Cafes.
Kleines Manko: Strandservice startet erst um 10:00. Davor kann man zwar bereits die Liegen nutzen, aber es gibt noch keine Schirme.

I can honestly can not find anything negative to say about Ahau. It really was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. The staff was amazing. The food was amazing, the room was amazing. Entire hotel was amazing. Service was top notch. The ocean was full of sea **** but the hotel was so good at cleaning it up from the beach. These guys work very hard. It takes them hours to clean the sea ****.
The concierge was absolutely perfect. They were always in touch with us. Also one thing I liked was we can ask for anything through WhatsApp. Any request any problem. I like that system a lot.

I felt like I was in nature the entire time. What a beautiful property in a natural setting, complete with sand walkways around the rooms. I felt so at peace here. The ocean was the constancy presence in my six day stay. I’m looking forward to returning soon.

Very dissatisfied with the process of check in and checking out. Checking in was very slow, only one person at the reception desk and a confusion with the unit that I paid. Also, I got overcharge for the room.
Overall, the hotel is nice, clean, beach front, walkable to shopping and restaurants. It was our first time to Tulum and it was fun.

Its like a Hostel but they charge like a 5 stars hotel.
There was no water in my shower, the room was dirty, in my room there were no black out or courtains in all the windows of the room , so at 7 am the sun was in my face.
They don’t have enough bath towels, we were 3 in the suite and they just put 3 bath towels the first day but the other days the put pool towels instead of bath towels because they didn’t have enough.
There were singers at the restaurant and music from 9 am, and my room was just next to the restaurant so the music was inside my room.
The only thing that its good with this hotel it is the location.
