Grand Rezen Jiuzhaigou Resort

I chose this hotel because of the good breakfast reviews, and they were right! The breakfast was indeed excellent. Navy, who checked us in, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with a detailed itinerary of local attractions. The hotel also offers a shuttle service that drops you off directly at the scenic spot entrance, which was a huge convenience.

I experienced altitude sickness after visiting the scenic area and needed to rest at the hotel. Although it was checkout time, the hotel kindly extended my checkout until 4 PM without any extra charge, which I really appreciated! The butler was also very responsive to all my requests, which was excellent!

The room was very clean, and the staff were all incredibly welcoming. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, making the trip well worth it! A special shout-out to Shanhai, who provided exceptional and thoughtful service, helping with taxis and luggage with great enthusiasm. Overall, a fantastic service experience!

Booked this for 358, which included breakfast. They upgraded my room, which was quite spacious. However, I felt the duvet wasn't clean – maybe because it's the off-season and fewer people are staying, so they don't clean as thoroughly? Anyway, shortly after checking in, I broke out in hives all over and had to buy loratadine and calamine lotion nearby. I did notice some hairs on the sheets, which made them look dirty. I stayed for two nights. It's about 1.8 km from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area entrance, which is quite a walk; it took us a long time to get there on foot. The hotel has a villa-style design, and the soundproofing is excellent – you can't hear anything from next door, which is a big plus! The breakfast was pretty standard, nothing special, but acceptable.
