Based on 101 reviewsNanning Zoo is located in the western suburbs of Nanning, locally known as "Xijiao Park." The park is shaded by lush trees, showcasing a typical southern subtropical garden landscape. It houses over 200 animal species, including giant pandas, Francois' langurs, golden snub-nosed monkeys, gibbons, Asian elephants, and oriental pied hornbills. Among them, native Guangxi species like the Francois' langur are signature exhibits, while the giant panda enclosure is particularly popular with family-friendly visitors. The aquarium features dolphins and sea lions, and over 30 other exhibits, such as the elephant house, giraffe house, and amphibian-reptile house, are scattered throughout the park, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll with kids. The zoo also boasts two themed amusement parks—one on land and one on water. The land park offers thrilling rides like a triple-loop roller coaster, giant pendulum, and drop tower, while the Caribbean Water World provides a refreshing summer escape. For a break, visitors can catch a show at the 4D theater. With animal encounters and amusement rides all in one place, a full-day itinerary here never feels monotonous.
