Sangzhu Staycation Kangzhu Luxury Residence ( Dukezong Ancient City, Shangri-La)

Location: 5.0 Service: 5.0 Hygiene: 5.0 Facilities: 5.0 This stay was an excellent experience, a journey where comfort and quality truly coexisted. The hotel's design is full of thoughtful details, and the public areas are quiet and elegant. The guest rooms are tranquil and cozy, the toiletries are of superb quality, and I had a wonderful night's sleep. The service was discreet yet deeply attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. A special shout-out to our butler, Larong Enzhu, who was incredibly warm, hospitable, and friendly. He made us feel right at home in the remote Shangri-La, and we experienced the genuine kindness and simplicity of the ******* people through him. A big thumbs up to him, and we look forward to our next visit.

This hotel is really unique, right inside the ancient city. The breakfast rice noodles were delicious, and they even offered afternoon tea!

I stayed in a very traditional ******* guesthouse, but it had a modern touch that made me feel very comfortable. The hotel provided afternoon tea and a late-night milk snack every day, which was a thoughtful touch. Although the hotel was a bit of a walk from the parking lot, Tashi from the hotel always provided shuttle service. The hygiene was good, with rooms cleaned daily. I truly felt at home, and it made our Shangri-La trip complete.

The environment was surprisingly good, with a strong ******* character throughout. The architecture felt nostalgic but the facilities were modern. I especially loved the bronze washbasin in the room. Cleanliness: Very clean and odor-free. Service: Attentive and thoughtful. The young lady who checked us in was welcoming and polite. A young man even presented us with a Hada (******* ceremonial scarf) as soon as we entered and carefully helped us with our luggage to the room.

The hotel's decor is incredibly luxurious and opulent, perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. Plus, the location is excellent, and the staff are very enthusiastic and helpful.

Booked this hotel for a family trip. The environment is absolutely stunning, with a very strong ******* feel. The rooms are quite large; our triple room was very spacious and even had a nasal oxygen machine. The underfloor heating kept the room wonderfully warm and comfortable. Although it's generally advised not to shower much in Shangri-La, the shower pressure here was surprisingly strong, allowing for a quick rinse. The breakfast was lovely – small but exquisite, with a decent variety including Chinese, Western, and ******* options. The afternoon tea had many choices, showing the hotel's thoughtfulness. Both the butter tea and the evening milk were kept warm in insulated flasks, and the flavors were authentically *******. Thumbs up!👍 The front desk and concierge staff were excellent. Both the young man and young woman helped us with our luggage before and after check-in, which we really appreciated.

The hotel has a unique ******* charm and is very close to Dukezong Ancient City and Guishan Park. The shuttle service was excellent, and they even offered afternoon tea and a goodnight milk. In the evening, there was a tabletop bonfire with complimentary rice wine. The atmosphere was a bit quiet that day, probably because there weren't many guests. 😄

The second stop of our Chinese New Year trip was this hotel with a strong ethnic charm. The staff, both the guys and girls, were really welcoming, and our butler service was always on call for any issues. The coffee in the hotel is also excellent; I highly recommend the buttered highland barley latte.
