Akihabara Bay Hotel (Female Only)

[BIG WARNING! Not recommended for travelers with luggage or those who prefer a relaxed trip] The only pro is the low price; everything else is a major flaw and a potential trap. The booking information is very misleading: I thought 10 AM was just for vacating the bed, but the actual rule is that at 10 AM, the entire building, except for the basement, is cleared out, and you're kicked out. Plus, check-out the next day must be completed before 10 AM. This is extremely unfriendly for travelers who like a relaxed pace; the time pressure is intense, making it feel more like a place for workers needing a temporary stay. Furthermore, the space inside is extremely cramped and narrow. There's no extra space in the common areas to open a suitcase, making it impossible to comfortably organize your belongings. There's nowhere to sort your luggage or souvenirs; if you spread anything out, others can't pass. The rules and regulations are numerous, and you're restricted at every turn. Most importantly, the staff's attitude is terrible. They were very impatient when rushing guests out, making for a very poor communication experience. When enforcing rules, they were cold and showed clear signs of impatience, as if a guest's normal needs were bothering them. If you're traveling to Tokyo with luggage, I strongly advise spending a bit more to find other accommodation. The strict time limits and cramped space here will severely ruin your travel experience. I deeply regret staying here.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Yodobashi Camera, offering plenty of electronics, and the mall has a wide variety of food and goods. However, the hotel itself is a bit too small. There are no common areas for working or handling other tasks. It's similar to a capsule hotel, so the beds are very small and narrow – there isn't even space to open a suitcase, which is inconvenient for women, especially those with a lot of belongings. On the plus side for women, the bathroom shower amenities are very comprehensive and work well; there are even lotions, which is a thoughtful touch. My bed curtain had some dirty spots, but the hotel seems to be cleaned daily, meaning they tidy up your belongings. Still, it's just too small. I understand the bed is small, as it's just for sleeping, but other storage spaces are also tiny. The most crucial point is the lack of common areas. I hope the hotel can reconsider its layout.

This is a really great place! It's very close to Akihabara Station, and it's an all-female dormitory, which made me feel very secure. The bathroom basically provides everything, and my hair felt smooth after washing. Everyone was also very polite. I stayed for many days, and every day someone would help tidy up my bed and organize my belongings. For a capsule hotel, this is truly excellent!

The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. The public areas are well-equipped, and the location is convenient with great dining, shopping, and entertainment options all around. It's close to the electronics market and very convenient for anime and gaming shopping.
