The room was clean, the air conditioning was new, and I was able to rest well. The breakfast was the best part. I enjoyed a wide variety of fruits, traditional curry, and delicious tea while gazing at the Lotus Tower.

Small amount of mould build up in the bathroom. Provided soap and shampoo. Free tea and coffee as long as you went to the restaurant. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious enough. Cleaners could be more thorough as there was a used pad in the toilet bin they clearly missed. Location was good, close to the park, cafes, post office.

The room was clean and offered a view of the Lotus Tower. There is also a restaurant on the rooftop. The front desk staff were polite, spoke good English, and recommended attractions within a 20-minute walk. They also gave us a refrigerator magnet as a gift. The hotel has security stationed in the lobby. However, the soundproofing in the room wasn't the best. We could hear people talking in the hallway, and in the morning, there was noise from cawing crows and broadcast announcements. Overall, it represents good value for the price.

Came back to stay at The Den at the end of our trip in Sri Lanka. Again, our stay was amazing. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Very good water pressure in the shower.

Very nice hotel, convenient location. I especially want to highlight the staff, who helped print the documents needed for my visa application and didn’t charge me anything for it. The food is generally good, and the pricing is reasonable.
