The room was 270euro per night including breakfast but there was no view at all, I was at the end of corridor facing the back of building wall. The shower was clogged, the platform was stuck with water. There were 2 sets of elevators and my room was at the back. After breakfast, the door card didn’t work so I went down to lobby and replaced with a new one, and when turned my back I heard the reception short hair lady said “ the ******* xxxxx” I didn’t react n headed up to the room and the door card didn’t work AGAIN! so I went down to the lobby twice. Thats not the standard of a decent hotel. Breakfast was the best I had in Spain but disappointed they served tap water while there were many juice, confirmed by the waitress because I tasted the difference. When I checked out, the same reception said they have to check if I used the snacks and asked if I could give them 5 mins. Gosh, my uber driver arrived n their elevators took ages to go down. I explained I didn’t use anything and he insisted if they could go check, of course I didn’t bother. It’s NOT my responsibility to wait and why didn’t they put every snacks and drinks inside a sensored fridge?! The overall experience felt discriminated. The only advantage of this hotel is opposite to Hermes.

The location is fantastic! Everything is within walking distance, and there's a subway station right outside, making taxis convenient too. The staff were very attentive and gave a detailed introduction to the room. Housekeeping was prompt and the room was always clean. All the facilities were great.

The room was really spacious, and the front desk service was absolutely amazing! Even though my English isn't great, the white guy at the front desk was so handsome and patient! This is a really friendly hotel for Chinese guests! He kept emphasizing how good the breakfast was, and he was right! The breakfast here was the best we had in Madrid! No need to queue for churros – they have them right here at the hotel!!! Super delicious! The hotel is also close to all the attractions and feels very safe. Everyone is so welcoming!

The hotel's location is excellent; we could walk to most places. The environment is lovely, and it's very clean and hygienic. Plus, the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. This was definitely the best hotel experience we had on our trip to Spain. We were also pleasantly surprised to find amenities like slippers, toothpaste, and toothbrushes provided.

The location is excellent, right next to Puerta del Sol. This hotel has a century of history, and room types vary significantly with price. The top-floor terrace rooms cost over 4000 yuan, while standard rooms are around 1000-2000 yuan. The rooms are well-equipped with amenities, including toiletries, but I strongly advise bringing your own. Even four-star hotels in Europe typically provide very basic toiletries. The environment is clean and tidy. However, there are no plastic slippers, as many European hotels don't provide them, so it's best to bring your own!

This hotel has a lot of character, though the winding hallways felt a bit like a maze. We also had to get our key cards reprogrammed three times at the front desk before both room keys worked. But aside from that, everything else was great! The hallways are clean and modern, and there are three elevators, so you don't have to navigate the 'maze' much (except for walking to the very end for breakfast). The location is excellent; it's just a few steps to Puerta del Sol, making it easy to reach any major attraction in the city center. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful, and they always greeted us warmly when we returned. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse – one of the most extensive we've seen across the 7-8 countries we've visited. The buffet had rows and rows of food! Our room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate, very tidy, and everything worked well. Overall, this was one of the most comfortable hotels we stayed at during our trip, apart from the initial hassle with the key cards on the first day. It would be even better if they could fix those faulty key cards!

This hotel has perfect location : walkable to most attractions! It is centralised in the city facing to the main street.  However we had very good sleep for 3 nights without any traffic disturbance. The hotel provided buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices. We did not see room service person, supposing due to weekend.
