Chateau Marmont

This is our fifth time staying here we stayed one night in a junior suite the space was a good size. Only one disappointment was we couldn’t have dinner on the patio as there was a red carpet event but we did get to see naomi watts snd sarah paulson through our kitchen window while standing on a chair which was really funny. Garden and pool area are beautiful like a secret hideaway. It s always special to stay here there is an atmosphere can’t put my finger on it but it’s just lovely. Hope to stay again in the future once you stay you always want to return.

We have travelled extensively and stayed in some of the most famous hotels in the world, but Château Marmont is in a league of its own. The service is exceptional. Every member of staff seems to instinctively understand the balance between attentiveness and privacy. Nothing feels forced, nothing feels scripted — just genuine, warm, highly professional hospitality. You feel looked after while still feeling completely at home. The food and drinks are wonderful, whether in the restaurant, by the pool, or late at night. There is something magical about sitting under the trees or by the pool knowing you are in the heart of Hollywood, yet feeling a million miles away from the noise. What makes Château Marmont truly unforgettable is its soul. So many luxury hotels are beautiful, but few have personality. This place has stories in its walls, romance in its corners, and a timeless cool that cannot be manufactured. Château Marmont is not just somewhere you stay — it is somewhere you experience. It leaves you with memories, not just photographs. It is the kind of hotel you compare all others to afterwards, and very few come close. We will never forget our time here and cannot wait to return. Château Marmont has set the bar impossibly high.

A hotel that needs no introduction. This was our first stay at CM and will absolutely not be the last. So many things about this place feel special. This hotel is not for people who book "by the numbers". This is will never win an award for "best hotel" here on Tripadvisor. It's about a feeling and sense of place. The service is impeccable. It's informal but polished. There's no pretense, interactions are conversational in nature. You really feel like it's a sanctuary, for you and for so many people over the years. The F&B spaces are a delight, the pool is beautiful (heated and open 24 hours to boot), the drinks are strong, table tennis at night is a vibe. It's the kind of the property that looks rooted in time but all the details are there. This was one of 3 properties in our recent LA visit (we used to live here for years) and the one we'll return to will be Chateau Marmont.

there are NO non smoking rooms, only smoking rooms and they smell AWFUL. this hotel is EXPENSIVE. and to sleep in an ashtray? i was stunned that there weren't any non smoking rooms. the windows are very old and don't open plus all of the carpet and upholstery (wall to wall carpet, curtains etc.) only enhance the cigarette smell. ICK

We stopped by at CM for a cocktail at the bar before a benefit show at the laugh factory. From the music, to the service to the SMELL, it felt luxurious. Even though we stayed briefly, would say it was a highlight of the trip and a wonderful experience overall

We stayed one night in room 55 premiere one bedroom suite. What can i say very spacious and over looking the pool. Bedroom gorgeous living room and i love the original kitchen and original bathroom these are the things i love about the chateau. I was so surprised when i went on to the balcony it was huge i wasn’t expecting that we also had sun loungers on there,the view was amazing.The room was spotlessly clean. We had an evening meal and breakfast the food and service was amazing. The pool is heated i swam at 11.30 at night my favourite time to swim. The gardens are beautiful they always feels like a secret garden to me. This is our 5th time staying here over the last 13 years hopefully we will return.
