Jen Penang Georgetown by Shangri-La

Convenient location, walkable to many good restaurants, bars and malls. In-room Bathoom a bit small but overall decent. Excellent service

Hotel is very convenient with Komtar bus terminal, shopping malls and easy to find halal food. Walking distance to go about Georgetown and using goggle map is accurate. The management is kind to give a small cake birthday cake as I request a kind gesture as its our birthday trip. Ms Ranganasi (hopefully its right) when check us in is kind to provide us a complimentary breakfast. Thank you. The room is spacious, clean and well maintain. Only there is a kind of stinky like sock smell at the bed frame, only realised it on the day 2 of staying but I was too tired to change room. Staff from the front desk, bell hop, lounge and security is all friendly and helpful. Thank you Jen Penang.

A great hotel in the heart of Georgetown. The location is excellent, especially for shopping, as 1st Avenue Mall, Prangin Mall and KOMTAR are just a short walk away. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel is very convenient for families. Overall, a pleasant stay with an excellent location!

Great location and very convenient for getting around Penang. The room was comfortable, clean, and overall the stay was pleasant. Staff and service were good too. The only downside is that the hotel amenities are a little limited, and the swimming pool was not very attractive or interesting to me. Other than that, everything was good and I enjoyed my stay. Overall, a good choice if location and convenience are your priorities. 👍

The hotel is situated in a good location, where the good foods surrounded us. The service by the staff were great too, we got early check in and late check out. The breakfast at level 1 was more in variety than the club access, but we appreciated the quietness and privacy. We didn’t manage to enjoy much of the club as we were out most of the time. We also grabbed food and it was a great experience. That said my complaints were the facilities - in particular the shower. The bathtub was small, the bathroom was so small. The water pressure is weak so I really didn’t like the entire bathroom experience. Do hope the hotel can do something to renovate it next time.

Overall, the stay was okay and comfortable. The room was a little small, so it may feel slightly tight if you are travelling with more luggage. The best part is the location, which is very convenient and makes it easy to get around, shop, and find food nearby. A decent choice if location is your main priority.
