Scholars Hotel Xuntang

I was out late because the MixC West District just opened. I chose this hotel last-minute, but it turned out to be an experience that far exceeded my expectations and was a wonderful surprise! The hotel is located within a scenic area, and the entire area is operated by the hotel. The hotel group is state-owned, which means it's very well-regulated and meticulous. You know it won't be bad when it's sometimes used to host important dignitaries. Since I arrived quite late and there was availability, they upgraded me to a suite! It was huge, and the decor, attention to detail, and the view from the window were all superb. The brands and specifications of the home appliances were, of course, top-notch. It was a fantastic stay. On another note, I have to commend how well the old buildings in the scenic area have been preserved and developed!

The room was very clean and located right in the ancient town, offering incredibly beautiful views. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time, it's fantastic! 👏

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hygiene was excellent. They provided fresh fruit every day, and a different 'Night Rest Warm Meal' each evening, which was a lovely touch. The environment was great, and the service was attentive and always met my needs. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Wuxi. I really didn't want to leave, it was so comfortable! 😊

Overall, very comfortable! The breakfast was delicious, and the room was bright and airy. It had smart features like a Bluetooth speaker and voice control. The only downside was that our suite was close to a bridge, so it could get a bit noisy when cars passed by.

Traveling with my two besties, every step in Xuntang Ancient Town was picturesque. After a leisurely stroll, we checked into a Chinese-style hotel housed in a century-old ancient town building. Our suite was warm and grand, with elegant classical decor, and the service was incredibly thoughtful, with impressive attention to detail. Everything exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious with two bathrooms, which was incredibly practical. The surroundings were charmingly historic, quiet, and elegant – truly a place you'd want to revisit. This trip was a bit rushed, but I'll definitely be back for a proper vacation.

Environment: Quiet despite being in a bustling area. You can explore the ancient town right outside, it's very peaceful. Service: Warm and thoughtful, and they even offer late-night snacks.
