Scholars Hotel Xuntang

The best night's sleep I had during my trip to Jiangnan. It has a strong ancient charm mixed with modern smart elements. The sweet soup was super delicious. Great for travel photography with many spots right on-site!

I found this hotel nearby when I went to the Olympic Sports Center for that Weibo event! A dedicated staff member helped me with my luggage from the parking lot and even took it to my room! It's a charming hotel I've never stayed at before, truly excellent. The front desk lady was very friendly, and the room was exceptionally spacious and had an antique feel! There was even a Dyson hairdryer. I was very satisfied with my stay. Finally, when I checked out, they also helped me with my luggage all the way to my car! 👍

The hotel's overall environment and facilities are great. It's located within Xuntang Ancient Town, virtually having the entire town to itself, which makes it very convenient for guests to explore. The ancient town is small with few tourists, offering a peaceful environment, but you can also see everything in a short amount of time.

Facilities: The room is fully equipped with smart controls, and you can simply say "Xiao Du" to operate them. Service: The butler team provides excellent service. They called in advance to confirm details and even had a staff member meet us at the parking lot. Since we had a large group, they thoughtfully asked if we needed the sofa bed made up. Environment: The room environment is great, and there's also a small courtyard.

Absolutely fantastic! The room was huge with two bathrooms and a large bathtub, which the kids loved. It's located right in the ancient town, and the environment is beautiful. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I had a VIP experience – staff led me everywhere, and the service was excellent. I hope to stay here again sometime!

An excellent hotel! The room was spacious, featuring a modern Chinese design and smart systems. The hotel rooms are scattered throughout the ancient town, so you step right out into picturesque scenery. Hotel staff assisted with luggage during both check-in and check-out. We received welcome fruits upon arrival, and purple rice porridge was delivered as a late-night snack. Although the ancient town is small, the scenery is absolutely beautiful. It has all the elements of a classical Suzhou garden, and it's quiet with few crowds, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll and a deeper appreciation.

I was out late because the MixC West District just opened. I chose this hotel last-minute, but it turned out to be an experience that far exceeded my expectations and was a wonderful surprise! The hotel is located within a scenic area, and the entire area is operated by the hotel. The hotel group is state-owned, which means it's very well-regulated and meticulous. You know it won't be bad when it's sometimes used to host important dignitaries. Since I arrived quite late and there was availability, they upgraded me to a suite! It was huge, and the decor, attention to detail, and the view from the window were all superb. The brands and specifications of the home appliances were, of course, top-notch. It was a fantastic stay. On another note, I have to commend how well the old buildings in the scenic area have been preserved and developed!
