Sama-Sama Hotel Kuala Lumpur International Airport

This hotel is conveniently located near Terminal 1 and offers a dedicated shuttle service, making it an excellent choice for transit passengers or those seeking a comfortable rest. Another great advantage is its proximity to Mitsui Outlet Park, just about a 10-minute Grab ride away, which makes shopping incredibly convenient!

The room was pretty quiet, and the facilities were good too. The hotel offers a shuttle service to T1, running 24/7 every 5 minutes, and it only takes about 2-3 minutes to get there from the hotel. It was incredibly convenient. The only minor issue was finding a used cotton swab in the bathroom, which hadn't been cleaned properly.

I used this hotel for a solo trip. My flight arrived late at night and departed early in the morning, so I opted for a hotel directly connected to the airport. It was easy to get to the city center, and I was very happy with the hotel – it offered good value for money. There's a complimentary buggy service that takes you from the airport to the hotel and back (they're usually waiting, so you can just ask on the spot). The room was cleaned daily. The plumbing was fine, including water pressure and temperature. There are two power outlets on either side of the bed, so I could comfortably charge multiple devices overnight. The amenities provided were sufficient! As for food and drink, bottled water isn't provided, so you'll need to bring your own. (I think the water in the glass bottle is drinking water, but I'm unsure how long it had been there; the cap was dusty). I also used room service twice as it was inexpensive, delicious, and the portions were generous. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and good value for money. I'm considering staying here again if I have the chance to visit Kuala Lumpur.

Had an early morning flight the next day, so I booked Samasama directly at the airport to avoid the hassle of going into the city. I have to say, it was incredibly convenient. There's a shuttle from T1 that gets you to the hotel reception in just 2 minutes. Check-in was smooth, and they didn't even ask for a deposit. The room was pretty standard, but I slept well.

On the 2nd floor of T1, there's a small shuttle bus stop, exactly where my picture shows, opposite a food court with a direct elevator. Actually, it's a quick walk too, just follow the Sami Sami signs. The hotel environment is very good and clean. The lobby has a big screen for watching the World Cup and a smaller screen for flight information. The mini-bar is free. The only downside is that the beds are a bit small; we had two adults and two children, and even with two twin beds pushed together, 2 meters felt cramped. For domestic flights, leaving the hotel two hours beforehand is fine.
