Hotel Binario Umeda

2nd time choosing this hotel as it is near my tour pick up point.

Great hotel. I stayed at a single economy room. I work remotely so I needed to have a table and a good chair for when I want to work and my room had it. Pros: 1) Good location. Near Umeda station (10 min), close to Nakazaka coffee shop streets and markets, convenience store and a supermarket very close to the hotel. However, if you are interested in Dotonbori or Namba - it's pretty far. 2) Clean. Very clean. 3) Good view from the window. I had lots of light and a view on the street. Even though there were cars, no noise came through the windows. Great sound isolation! 4) Perfect for business travelers or remote workers Cons: 1) Like many hotels in Japan, it was quite small and barely fit a huge suitcase. Unless you have a big bag, it'll be fine though

The location's very good, our room has great view over the city and provides easy access to metro and shopping centers. Umeda Sky building is within walking distance. Breakfast buffet is varied. We did expect more from tuna dishes however.

Both of us have skin bite marks and strongly believe it is a kind of bed mites allergy. There were old water marks in the toilet and the carpet on the corridor was not flat, easy to get tripped.They provide a lot of useful toiletry tools. However, the disposable bathing towel was shedding.

Perfect area, if you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest subway station, but this area is for locals and not foreigners making it more authentic. We loved the hotel and the area. For the price we got it for it was amazing, although when using the laundry you need to realize it will not dry very well. Nearby there are many great restaurants for the locals, and cafes.
