We were invited to a wedding on a farm near Agama Lodge and decided to book into Agama Lodge for the night. We arrived quite late due to heavy rain along the way. On arriving at Agama we were greeted by the friendly Receptionist and our room was pointed out to us. Room 30, very near to the Restaurant. The Dinner was a Set Menu, which we enjoyed thoroughly. All the Staff members were friendly and helpfull. The Bed was comfortable and the shower nice and warm...after a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast with the Best Omlette it was time to say Good Bye. Thank you for a memorable stay at Agama Lodge.

We had a wonderful time at the Agama Lodge. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the food was delicious. Dinner was accompanied by some excellent local singers. The warthogs were fascinating to watch and appeared to love all the attention! We had a rooftop bed and it was the night of a full moon - this was a magical view that I will never forget. Thank you for an excellent stay.

A great place to stay between Solitaire and Sesriem. The staff are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent too. We stayed 3 nights.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Agama Lodge. Set against Namibia’s breathtaking desert landscape, the lodge offers a peaceful and memorable experience, but what made our visit particularly special was the warmth, kindness and exceptional hospitality of the staff. Our sincere thanks to Apollonia and Joshua at reception for making us feel so welcome, and to Frans, the manager, for ensuring that everything ran so smoothly. Ottilie and Jacobiana, the duty managers, were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Ryan and Andrick provided excellent, friendly service in the restaurant, while chefs Getrude and Albertus prepared delicious meals and catered for us with great care—especially our vegetarian requirements. Every member of the team went out of their way to make us comfortable and treated us with genuine warmth. Agama Lodge combines a spectacular location with outstanding hospitality, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful part of Namibia. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable stay!

We had a great, one-night stay at Agama Lodge. The Lodge provided our family with a large family unit that is essentially two single lock-off units. We really enjoyed the peaceful location that is a bit more than 30 minutes from Solitaire and a good 45 minutes to the front gate to Sossusvlei. The rooms were clean when we arrived with Air Conditioning available in both rooms. We loved the peacefulness at the lodge and caught an amazing sunrise in the morning. Big shout-out to Helena at the front desk for for her friendliness and helpfulness when we first arrived, Benny for his friendliness in the restaurant, and Sebastian for being a fabulous guide for the stargazing and scorpion tour. Be mindful that WiFi is only in the reception and restaurant areas. We wished we spent at least one more night at Agama Lodge. We look to come back!

I was very disappointed by my stay at Agama Lodge. The most disappointing aspect was the service at the lodge and from the service staff at meals. They treated me like I was an inconvenience for them and were quite rude. There were instances where I skipped meals to avoid interacting with the staff at the dining hall. As for the rooms, they are quite spartan and do not have wifi. There was also an issue of geckos crawling into my room from a crack in the ceiling. It is also important to note the lodge is still about 2 hours away from Deadvlei. This is not a huge issue, but is something to note for guests. I will not be returning to this lodge and would not recommend this to others.

A fabulous small boutique lodge with beautifully decorated rooms featuring modern Namibian-inspired design. The infinity pool overlooks the desert, warthogs roam the property, and the night skies are spectacular. Breakfast and dinner were included. Dinner was excellent, featuring giant prawns and oryx, although breakfast was comparatively weak. Although the lodge is about 30 minutes from the park entrance, the substantial savings made the drive well worthwhile. More importantly, it was a peaceful respite from the crowds closer to the park. Tours are available through the lodge. Travelers should note that only the rooms closest to the main lodge have reliable Wi-Fi, so request one of those if internet access is important.

Spacious room. The small bathroom area would benefit from a shelf or two and a shelf in the shower. Small but surprisingly good buffet dinner and a decent breakfast. Extremely firm bed. Very quiet at night, with fantastic star gazing.
