We very much enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable spacious rooms with your own terrace and also a great roof terrace with fantastic views, (there is a bed on the terrace which they will make up for you if you want to sleep there). The parking is right by your door. There is a lovely pool area to relax by after climbing 'Big Daddy" sand dune! It takes around 45 minutes from here to get to the main entrance of the National Park. The staff are first class whilst the food was very good with buffet style one night and a la carte on the other. Thank you to the chefs for providing very good gluten free food. We also very much enjoyed the scorpion and star gazing walk. There are lots of warthogs around the hotel, make sure you are there for their feeding late afternoon. We would happily return. Read less

We enjoyed 3 nights at Agama Lodge and loved the views, the quiet nature, the spacious room and the delicious food. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We booked a great tour to Sossusvlei with the Agama Lodge guide and had a wonderful day visiting the park and the dunes.

Nice large room but quite dark in the evenings due to inadequate lights inside the room. Additionally, this is the only place we have ever stayed where they don't keep hand wash or soap near the wash basin. There is one kept inside a dispenser in the shower, which is difficult to move. So if you want to wash your hands with the soap, you have to get the soap on your hands from the shower first, walk 10 steps to the wash basin a d then rinse! It doesn't cost a moon to keeps handwash. Additionally, the housekeeping was tardy. They pushed out slippers below the heavy desk and I had to pull the desk to finally locate the slippers! Icing on the cake was flies in the room. After requesting thrice in the reception to do so something about it, they gave us an insect repellent and we spent next 30 mins dancing around the room to spray the repellent at the flies! Plus it is quite a distance from the Namib Park gate,so doesn't really make sense to stay here if someone wants to visit the park more than once in a day

I enjoyed the stay in this place very much; rooms are great, food is lovely and the staff very friendly. The sunset is to die for. It is one hour away from the Vleis. But it is ok. I enjoyed our stay very much and will come again. We were 10 people and all loved the place
