Grand Mercure Yogyakarta Adi Sucipto

Location is great, convenient access to shopping malls and relatively close to Prambanan Temple compared to those in Yogyakarta centre. Staff are friendly and helpful! I felt so welcoming. It is worth it for the price. I think i was lucky to get an upgrade to premium superior instead of the standard one. The breakfast has many options. However, I think cleanliness need improvement because the toilet was smelly. Also, they don’t have body lotion. Overall, it is really worth it for the price! Will consider staying here next time to Jogja!

Unfortunately this “5* hotel” leaves a lot to be desired, the entry hall is lovely and the staff are absolutely amazing. However, the room was not up to 5* standards. The bathroom shows clear signs of mould and decay, badly needing renovating. The sheets were stained, clean but not free from marks. The towels smelt as if they weren’t washed properly. The curtains let light in during the mornings, the soundproofing isn’t great between rooms. It feels more like a four star hotel, it’s also attached to an Ibis and the pool is shared with guests from that hotel. The pool is nice but not heated so it’s absolutely freezing. I would recommend looking elsewhere, good for the price but not a true 5* experience.

Hotel is not bad. Location is accessible,  But cleanliness wise still can do better. The Toilet , bathroom and balcony is not clean even after doing room service,  Furnishing is a little bit outdated. The room smells musky  The bellboy manning the drop off is not that good cos seeing me struggling with my luggage in the rain, he did not even offer to help despite having an umbrella. Did not even help us to open the door. Me and my partner struggle to bring our luggage up the slope, in the rain and drenched. Im not sure why, but for the 4 days 3 night im there, the doorbell didnt even offer to help or assist..  For a top 10 hotel in jogja, the bell boy can do better with service wise. But the Front desk and concierge is very friendly..

Perfect for the hotel and services, and gratefully they give free upgrade room for us, so happy 🤩
