Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc

If you’re dreaming of wild adventures and magical animal encounters, Phu Quoc Safari is THE place to add to your bucket list! Trust me, this place is next-level awesome — and I’ve got a wild story to prove it. Here’s all you need to know before you go, plus my own experience (with a plot twist 😉), and my top tips for making your trip slay! Address: Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, Ganh Dau Commune, Phu Quoc, Kien Giang, Vietnam Opening Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM every day My Safari Story 🐅✨ So, picture this: I’m cruising through the safari, camera ready, low-key manifesting a close-up with the animals. Suddenly, an adorable giraffe strolls right up to our bus window — yes, like a scene straight out of a feel-good movie! Everyone is squealing; the vibe is pure joy. Then BAM — the giraffe literally sticks its giant tongue THROUGH THE WINDOW looking for snacks and slobbers on my tour book! 😂 I legit couldn’t stop laughing. Best selfie ever? Confirmed. My Review Phu Quoc Safari is sooo good! It's super clean, the animals look happy and healthy, and the staff are really friendly. The open-bus tour took us up close to lions, rhinos, and zebras — totally wild, but safe. Don’t miss the lemur enclosure – those little guys have the CUTEST energy! Whether you’re rolling with friends, family, or solo, you’ll be hyped. 3 Pro Tips for Tourists 1. Arrive early! Animals are way more active in the morning. 2. Wear comfy shoes (trust me, this place is *huge*). 3. Bring your own snacks and water – the on-site options are limited and kinda pricey. Top 5 Must-Do Recommendations 1. Hop on the Safari Bus for the full open-zoo experience. 2. Check out the live animal shows (times posted at the entrance). 3. Snap a pic with the giraffes — you never know who’ll photobomb your shot! 4. Visit the Kid’s Zoo if you’ve got little explorers. 5. Swing by the souvenir shop for some wild merch. #winterescape 📍 Why it’s special Phu Quoc Safari is one of the largest wildlife parks in Vietnam and part of the Vinpearl complex in the northern part of the island. Unlike small city zoos, this park combines open safari zones with traditional walking areas, offering a more spacious environment for animals. The concept follows a semi-open model, where visitors move through certain areas by bus while animals roam freely. 🦒 What to expect – Safari bus tour through open habitats – Giraffes, zebras, antelopes, rhinos, and other species – Walking zoo section with birds, reptiles, and primates – Animal feeding areas – Scheduled animal shows The safari bus is the highlight. Instead of walking past cages, you sit inside a protected vehicle while animals move around large enclosures. It feels more dynamic than a standard zoo visit. 🎟 Tickets – Around 650,000–750,000 VND depending on season – Combo tickets available with VinWonders 🚗 How to get there – Located in the north of Phu Quoc – 40–50 minutes from Duong Dong town by taxi – VinBus free shuttle available from some areas 🕒 Best time to visit Morning – animals are more active and the weather is cooler. 🗺 Combine with – VinWonders theme park – Northern beaches – Grand World Phu Quoc Phu Quoc Safari is not a wild African experience, but for Vietnam it’s surprisingly well organized and spacious. It’s a solid half-day activity, especially if you’re traveling with family or want a break from beaches. #vietnam #phu_quoc #safari #travel2026

Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc is an absolute must-visit! 🐾🌳 Home to over 3,000 animals from across the globe, this park lets you hand-feed giraffes, play with lemurs, and even get incredibly close to elephants. The best part? It’s not just you watching the animals—once you hop on the safari bus, you become the one being observed! It feels just like stepping into a live episode of the Discovery Channel. Whether you're visiting with family or a group of friends, the fun factor is through the roof! Located in the northern part of Phu Quoc, the safari is super easy to reach no matter where you're staying. It’s less than a 15-minute drive from its sister attractions, VinWonders Phu Quoc and Grand World Phu Quoc, making it easy to plan a full day of adventure. These spots have become the hottest "must-see" destinations in Phu Quoc lately, and they are incredibly Instagrammable! The park offers both day and night sessions. If you're looking to feed the animals or snap some stunning photos, the daytime session is your best bet for that perfect lighting. The night session features a "Night Safari" bus adventure, perfect for thrill-seekers, though photography can be a bit more challenging in the dark. The park is divided into two main zones: the Yellow Line (Walking Area) and the Red Line (Wildlife Area). The Yellow Line is perfect for a chill stroll to see various species, while the Red Line takes you on a bus deep into the wild to witness the raw beauty of animals roaming the savannah. You’ll hardly see any cages or fences here, offering an almost "zero-distance" experience that feels just like being in Africa! Don't miss the live performances throughout the day, including tribal dances and animal feeding shows—the energy is amazing! Pro-tip: Download the VinWonders app to keep track of the show schedule or check with the staff upon arrival to make the most of your visit. For dining, there are two main spots: the Giraffe Restaurant and the Flamingo & Rhino Restaurant. At the Giraffe Restaurant, you can enjoy your meal right next to the wildlife area as giraffes wander by. It’s incredibly therapeutic and makes for a perfect IG shot! Location Details 📍 Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc Address: Bãi Dài, Gành Dầu, Phú Quốc, Kiên Giang 922200 Opening Hours: Day 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Night 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM Add this to your Phu Quoc bucket list now! Whether you're with friends or kids, it’s guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience! 🦒🦓🦏

Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc is Vietnam's largest open-concept safari park, spanning over 380 hectares. It is an absolute must-visit when you are on the island. Its main highlight is the "Humans Inside, Beasts Outside" semi-wild experience, which reimagines the traditional zoo visit and has become one of the top landmarks in Phu Quoc. Three Must-See Highlights: Wildlife Safari by A/C Bus: The star of the show is the air-conditioned bus tour that journeys deep into the wildlife zones. You stay cool and comfortable inside while tigers, lions, rhinos, and zebras roam freely just outside the window with no fences in sight. It is perfectly safe yet exhilarating. Enchanting Bird Park & Kid Zoo: In the walk-through Bird Park, you can admire over 2,000 birds and might even find peacocks wandering the paths right next to you. The Kid Zoo allows children to get up close with gentle animals and experience what it's like to be a "junior zookeeper." Bonus Fun: The Giraffe Restaurant is the park's most popular photo spot. While you dine, giraffes often poke their heads in, and you can buy carrots to feed them. The park also features scheduled bird shows and other exciting performances. Practical Visitor Information Opening Hours: 09:00 - 16:00 (Last entry at 15:00). We recommend allowing 4-5 hours to explore at a relaxed pace. Getting There: Attractions are concentrated in the North Island. Guests staying at Vinpearl resorts can use the free VinBus shuttle; travelers coming from the city center can take the VinBus or a Grab. Itinerary Suggestions: Since the safari is located in North Phu Quoc, it is perfect for combining with nearby attractions into a full-day trip: Morning: Visit Vinpearl Safari early while the weather is still cool. Afternoon & Evening: Head to the adjacent VinWonders theme park for land and water rides, or visit Grand World to stroll by the canals, enjoy the night scenery, and watch "The Quintessence of Vietnam" show. Pro-Tip: Booking combo tickets on travel platforms is usually much more affordable than buying them at the gate!

Most people hear Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc and immediately think about the famous bus ride through the area where the animals roam freely. But there is another part of the park that I actually found just as interesting — the huge open zoo area that you can explore on foot. Here you can walk between different animal zones, see giraffes, elephants, flamingos, lemurs, monkeys, giant tortoises and plenty of other animals without spending the whole visit sitting on a bus. The park is enormous, so this doesn’t feel like a quick walk around a traditional city zoo. There are different areas for primates, birds, reptiles and mammals, with plenty of places to stop, take photos and simply watch the animals. One of my favourite things about this part is that you can actually slow down. You can stand near the flamingos for a while, watch the monkeys, look for the more unusual animals or just wander through the greenery instead of rushing from one attraction to another. And if you want an even closer experience, there are opportunities to feed some animals, including giraffes and lemurs, depending on the activity and current schedule. A few quick questions Can you walk around Vinpearl Safari? Yes. The park has a large walking zoo area separate from the bus-only Safari zone. Do you have to take the Safari bus? No. You can explore the walking areas independently. The bus is for the separate semi-wild Safari section. Is the walking area worth visiting? Definitely. If you only do the bus Safari, you’re missing a large part of the park. How much time should you allow? I’d give yourself several hours. The park is huge, and there is much more to see than you might expect. When is the best time to arrive? I’d go in the morning, when the weather is cooler and many animals are more active. Recent visitors also recommend arriving early for exactly this reason. 📍 Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc #VinpearlSafari #PhuQuoc #PhuQuocSafari #VietnamTravel #PhuQuocTravel #OpenZoo #Zoo #PhuQuocThingsToDo

If you're looking for activities beyond the beaches in Phu Quoc, I recommend dedicating a day to exploring the northern part of the island. We combined two destinations: the Safari Park and the charming Grand World. 🐾 Vinpearl Safari Park Vinpearl Safari Park is an open zoo located in northern Phu Quoc, where animals live in a natural environment. 🕘 Operating Hours: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM 💸 Ticket Price: ~2400 ₽ (Children under 100 cm enter for free) ⏱ Suggested Time: ~4 hours - enough to explore everything at a relaxed pace. 🚕 Getting There We stayed in the southern part of the island, so the journey was a bit challenging: · Either take a bus with transfers through the center · Or opt for a taxi We chose a taxi, which turned out to be much more convenient. Round-trip cost: ~3000 ₽ (split between two couples) Travel time: about 1 hour 👉 Tip: Head out early, especially if you plan to visit Grand World on the same day. 🎫 Tickets We purchased tickets in advance on Trip.com - it really saves time. At the entrance, simply show the QR code and skip the lines. 🚶♀️ Getting Around the Park There are two options: · Walk around using the map · Take the local tram that stops at key points 🚋 Tram: ~100,000 VND (You can buy a combined ticket with tram access on Trip.com) We chose to walk, which allowed us to move at our own pace and pick our route. 🦒 Interactive Experiences and Impressions Animal Feeding 🥕 You can feed: · Lemurs (they climb on you, perfect for WOW photos😄) · Giraffes · Elephants · Kangaroos We fed giraffes and elephants — an amazing experience! Cost: 40,000–80,000 VND Predator Feeding 🐊 Schedules are posted at each enclosure. We watched the hippo feeding — it was impressive; they are truly massive! 🦓 Safari Bus Tour Included in the ticket — a must-do! You board a closed bus and drive through a large area where animals live almost like in the wild. They aren't afraid of people, come very close, and you can observe them just a few meters away. 👉 Life Hack: If you're with a small child, you might be allowed to skip the line. We were given priority access 🙂 🍽 Restaurant with Giraffe Views There's a restaurant on-site where you can enjoy lunch while watching giraffes roam. 🚐 Transfer to Grand World After the safari, we took a free shuttle to Grand World. 📍 The schedule is posted at the exit stop - it's best to take a photo in advance. 🕒 Travel Time: ~15 minutes 🇮🇹 "Venice" in Grand World Phu Quoc This is a surprising location for Asia — a slice of Europe in the middle of Vietnam. The vibe here is completely different: peaceful, beautiful, and less crowded. ✨ Highlights: · Charming Venetian-style streets · Perfect spots for photos 📸 · Canals and gondola rides · Cozy cafes and shops · Souvenirs and clothing There's even a Daiso store with cute trinkets 🛍 👉 If you're looking for a "European" atmosphere and stunning photo opportunities, this place is worth visiting. ⏱ Suggested Time: ~2 hours 💡 Conclusion If you're willing to spend some time traveling, this itinerary is worth it. The Safari Park offers fantastic animal interactions, while Grand World adds a touch of aesthetics and variety. An ideal plan for a fulfilling day in Phu Quoc 💛

If you’ve never gone on a real-life safari, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc on Phu Quoc Island is a “worth a try” spot—just keep your safari expectations in check! The so-called “adventure” is mostly a big safari bus rolling through zoo-like zones. Most of the animals are chilling behind fences, or totally MIA and catching some zzz’s out of sight. 😅 But here’s the real tea: a trained bear actually walks up to the bus, and the driver slips him a treat. Major moment! Plus, they’ve got a giraffe café where you can sip your coffee while hanging with the tallest dudes on the island. 🦒 Definitely Insta-worthy! Still, most of what you’ll see are animals lounging in cages or hiding away. FYI—if you’re obsessed with capybaras (who isn’t?!), seeing them costs extra, so bring some cash for that bonus cuteness. Tbh, the price for the whole place feels kinda high for what you get. If you’re chasing mind-blowing animal action, you might wanna sit this one out. IMO, it’s worth it if you can score tickets for less than 400 baht. Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc Address: Bãi Dài, Gành Dầu, Phú Quốc, Kiên Giang 922200, Vietnam Opening Hours: 09:00–16:00 (last entry 15:00) Admission Fee: from VND 34.0 (peep the latest deals on trip.com) Now, if you’re looking for a glow-up after dark, there’s the Night Safari Phu Quoc: Night Safari Phu Quoc Address: Vinpearl Safari, Bãi Dài, Gành Dầu, Phú Quốc, Kiên Giang 91000, Vietnam Opening Hours: 19:00–21:30 Pro tip: As stunning as the place looks in daylight (think wooden sculptures in rainforests, sunbeams cutting through a sea of green 🌴✨), the real thrill is crossing those epic suspension bridges. Soak up the sunshine, and save the safari trip for another adventure unless you’re a first-timer. Overall, if wild rainforest vibes and nature walks are your jam, you’ll get better memories hopping around Phu Quoc’s lush landscapes. Save the safari for your bucket list—but only if you’ve seriously never tried one before! #travel2026 #couplestrip #naturalwonders #safari #Vietnam #phu_quoc

As a South African, I’m admittedly pretty picky about “safaris.” 😂 We’ve mostly stopped visiting zoos and animal attractions because I often leave feeling uncomfortable about small enclosures, so I was genuinely impressed by Vinpearl Safari. It felt more spacious and natural than many facilities we’ve visited, with a strong focus on animal care, conservation, rescue and research. It’s not an African safari, of course, but it was one of the better wildlife experiences we’ve had outside Africa. 🦁 GOOD TO KNOW 📍 Location: Northern Phú Quốc, near Grand World ⏰ Hours: 9:00–16:00 🎟️ Tickets: Around 850,000 VND adults | 650,000 VND children | under 100cm free · tickets often include a meal voucher 🐘 Animals: 150+ species and thousands of animals 🚌 Safari: A bus takes you through the semi-wild safari area while the animals roam around you 🌿 Also included: Open Zoo, animal shows, feeding experiences and educational activities 🥹 OUR HIGHLIGHT: LEMUR FEEDING The lemur feeding was easily our favourite part. They were incredibly sweet and gentle, and it was my son’s first ever interaction with a lemur, making it such a special memory for both of us. ❤️ If you’re visiting with kids, I’d definitely look into the feeding experiences. 👨👩👦 IS IT GOOD FOR KIDS? Absolutely! There’s plenty to see and do, and it’s a great way to introduce children to different animals while making the experience educational and fun. 💡 MY TIPS · Go early — the park is BIG! · Bring cash for drinks and snacks, they don't accept card, and there is no ATM nearby. · Check the daily show/feeding schedule when you arrive · Wear comfortable shoes and bring sun protection · Allow several hours rather than trying to rush through · If visiting with children, consider booking a feeding experience · You can have a coffee at the Starbucks outside the entrance before all the walking. ❤️ WOULD I RECOMMEND IT? Yes. Would I compare it to seeing wildlife in the South African bush? Never. 😂 But as a family wildlife experience in Vietnam, we genuinely enjoyed it and I felt much more comfortable with the experience than I usually do at traditional zoos. If you’re visiting Phú Quốc with kids, I’d definitely put this one on the list. 🦁🌿 #safari #phuquoc #travel2026 #vietnam #kidsactivities #review #guide

Phu Quoc is usually about beaches, sunsets and tropical island life, but one of my more unexpected discoveries here was something completely different - Vinpearl Safari. The most interesting part is the semi-wild safari area, where visitors travel through by vehicle while animals have much larger spaces to roam. The park is also involved in animal care, breeding and conservation programs. But places like this always raise an interesting question. Some people believe modern zoos and safari parks can play an important role in conservation, education and protecting endangered species. Others argue that wild animals simply shouldn’t be kept for human entertainment at all - regardless of how large or well-managed the facility is. I enjoyed discovering a completely different side of Phu Quoc, but I’m curious where you stand on this. Are you for or against zoos and safari parks like this? And does a strong focus on conservation change your opinion? 📍 Location: Vinpearl Safari, Phu Quoc, Vietnam #PhuQuoc #Vietnam #VinpearlSafari #Wildlife #VietnamTravel #AnimalConservation #hotdiscussions #localdiscoveries

🌄 Phu Quoc Island is a hub for entertainment, perfect for both relaxing on the beach and having an active, fun getaway. Here are my top recommendations for the best locations. 🌄 VinWonders Theme Park: There’s something for everyone here, from extreme roller coasters to more laid-back rides. Don't miss the massive aquarium, the water park, and the spectacular evening show. 🌄 Vinpearl Safari Park: This is a huge zoo where animals enjoy spacious, natural enclosures. The whole place feels like one giant green park. Make sure to visit the lemur area and grab lunch at the cafe with giraffes. You can also hop on a secure safari bus to see the animals up close—it’s a truly fascinating experience! 🌄 Sunset Town: A beautiful small town on the north of the island, the so-called City of Sunsets. Built in the style of ancient Rome, it even features its own Colosseum. The sunsets here are truly breathtaking—we’ve verified it! :) 🌄 Grand World: Another mini-city park, also located in the north. The architecture is Venice-inspired, complete with canals where you can take a ride on an authentic gondola. 🌄 Hon Thom Island and the World’s Longest Cable Car: You can reach the island via a cable car that holds the Guinness World Record for the longest in the world. The island features a massive water park and beautiful beaches, making it a perfect spot to spend the whole day.
