We had a great stay at the charming Hotel Botanica, a boutique hotel in Arcos de la Frontera. The rooms were spotless and full of creative touches. Massimo, the proprietor and renovator of the hotel, was exceptionally welcoming and had helpful recommendations for us. We recommend the breakfast offered by the hotel, which included local items and was delicious. The hotel has an artistic vibe, with décor, books, and artwork that make the atmosphere feel inclusive and expressive. It adds to the sense that this is not a cookie‑cutter hotel, but a place with its own story and identity. As with many spots in the old town, parking was about a 10 minute walk away, though we were able to park temporarily just uphill from the hotel and drop off our bags, which made everything easy. Overall, it was a unique and memorable stay in a beautiful hilltop town with incredible views and history.
