The hotel is about 1 kilometer from Shinjuku Station and a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station. The surrounding area has excellent amenities. The room was a bit larger than typical Japanese hotel rooms, and the cleanliness and facilities were perfectly adequate, completely meeting my expectations. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Tokyo.

The basic amenities are all there, and the hygiene standards are met. For Tokyo, the room size is decent for the price. However, I was assigned a room with almost no windows, which made it feel stuffy and ventilation wasn't good.

They asked unreasonable higher price (around 2days worth) due to our early checkin request, although they made a bit of discount still was high. There was no other booking platform to book that current night so I was forced to say yes. They called the room and wake me up 2nd night via phone call due to maintainence in the morning, and later afternoon. Another night random fake fire alarm triggered basically I suffer all nights without any sleep

Pleasant and Satisfying Stay Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at Citadines Shinjuku. The location is good, with Honolu Halal Ramen and a few other halal dining options nearby, and it is conveniently close to the train station. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the service was fast and accommodating.

It was okay, located in a pretty lively area. I remember walking there. The room was quite clean, and it's very close to the bustling downtown. If you walk there in the evening, there are lots of street vendors, making it very lively, haha.
