Apex Dunblane Hydro Hotel

My boyfriend and I loved our stay. Beautiful room, amazing pool and jacuzzi and sauna. Highly recommend!

A majestic-looking hotel with a unique sense of Scottish grandeur, set within beautiful countryside. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long journey through the Highlands. The room was comfortable, parking was convenient, and the pool, sauna and steam room added to the relaxing experience. Its location near Dunblane, Stirling and Callander is also very practical. An excellent and memorable stay that offered very good value. I would gladly return.

We go to Dunblane Hydro quite regularly but this is our first time under the Apex ownership happy to say the stay was great although the hotel is still under refurbishment there was no problems the new rooms are smaller but cosy The new lounge downstairs is lovely with a nice atmosphere the food was also very good in the lounge. The menu isn’t big but the food is very good. The pool and sauna facilities are brilliant and overall the staff are lovely and very helpful.

The only drawback is that rooms are quite outdated but well maintained. A bit of TLC will do miracles. Everything else was superb

We booked a room here on our honeymoon tour around Scotland and it turned out to be the best hotel we stayed at in the country. Not only did the staff work so professionally, they were also so personable. As a treat for our honeymoon, the staff gave us a gift of chocolates in our room when we arrived with a honeymoon card, as well as a dessert when dining in the restaurant. The restaurant was one of our highlights, if you are staying in the hotel do not miss it. The food was delicious, very well seasoned, and presented beautifully. Moreover, the staff in the restaurant were also so helpful, giving suggestions and recommendations and giving attention to us without being overbearing. The room looked out over the lawn with the towns cathedral in the distance. There was both a bath and a shower, the television was modern with a clean image, there were plenty of free coffees, teas and snacks in the room, and the bed was very comfy indeed. Don’t miss breakfast! The great food from the dinner in the restaurant remains during breakfast time too! I will be returning. This is a very special hotel.

Superb hotel with some exceptional staff. Loved the whole experience and will definitley be back. Well done all and especially Jim Lyon for this help during our stay 👏

The room is nice, breakfast is really good, staff are friendly and helpful, but the swimming pool was closed when we arrived in the afternoon, managed to swim the next morning.
