Shibuya Granbell Hotel

I recently stayed at Granbell Hotel Shibuya. One of the biggest positives of this hotel is the room size. The room was surprisingly spacious, especially considering the location in Shibuya. The location itself is also very convenient and makes it easy to explore the area. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. When I raised an issue about the hair dryer in my room, they responded quickly and provided a clean replacement. However, there were some cleanliness concerns. The carpet in the room appeared to have visible stains and dirt, and the hair dryer provided in my room was extremely dusty to the point that it was uncomfortable to use. This was disappointing, as cleanliness is an important factor for many guests. The hotel provides small bottles of body soap, shampoo, and conditioner, which was a nice touch. Overall, if you prioritize a great location and a spacious room, Granbell Hotel Shibuya may be a good choice. However, if you are particularly sensitive to dust, dirt, and cleanliness issues, you may find the condition of the room disappointing.

Very convenient location (~3 min walk to the Narita Express train) but probably would do better with more upkeep and maintenance. Some of the interior looks a little dated. Service was good

Good location and very close to JR station. Less crowdy than the other parts of Shibuya. Recommended.

Location was near the New South Gate Shibuya train station so that was excellent. Tons of shopping. About 8 mins walk from the Shibuya Crossing so location was great. Quiet at night. However, room was small but kind of expected since it is Shibuya and we got it at a good price.

Very very near to Shibuya station. If you come to Shibuya, find New South Gate exit. Follow to the exit then turn right, you’ll see Sakura Shibuya Stage, then take the escalators down, cross the street and you already reach the hotel. Room is small but has everything. Towels are provided everyday.

Room is nice but a little smaller than I had expected but I guess that’s just the way it is.

Nice location to Shibuya to wheel suitcase to NEX. Quiet, efficient hotel. Good size room for a single traveler.

The room was not really that clean. After trying to find power plugs around the room, you can find dust stuck everywhere.
