Maverick Suites at 40 Temple St

I had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect from the moment I checked in until I left. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, everything around was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I truly enjoyed my time here and appreciated the great hospitality. The location & cleanliness were great. The communication was terrible. They ignore calls. Daniel the concierge was the only helpful person. The others were rude and dismissive. It took two days before we got there to check in. The TV kept cutting in and out. There was no cable the whole time. The plug in the bathroom didn’t work. I was disappointed and would appreciate a slight refund in light of all the issues.

I had asked to see photos of the property after I reserved it since there were no pictures of Suite 11 available, but unfortunately I never received them. The photos that were on the website also didn’t seem to accurately reflect the room. The suite was incredibly small, which ultimately wasn’t a huge issue, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. We were also initially given the wrong code to access our room, though this was resolved quickly with a phone call. The AC/heating unit also wasn’t positioned very well, as it blew directly onto the bed/seating area, making it somewhat uncomfortable. Additionally, the walls were extremely thin. I could clearly hear everything happening in the neighboring unit, as well as the cleaning staff in the morning. I understand the staff can’t avoid making noise while working, but it did make it difficult to fully relax during the stay. That said, the location of the property was excellent and very convenient for getting around the area.

Good location, easy check in and check out. We didn't receive housekeeping services during our stay, and it would have been nice to get fresh towels. For the price, it suited our needs.

Staying in a historic brownstone steps from the State House at an affordable price was something I will be doing often. Thank you!

A phenomenal stay at maverick suites! The location was fantastic, the room was spotless and cozy, and the check-in/out process was a breeze. I’d happily stay here again and recommend to anyone taking a trip to Boston!
