Jetwing Colombo Seven

We booked Jetwing Colombo Seven for our last night in Sri Lanka, specifically because we wanted some peace and a good night's rest before our flight back to Europe. Unfortunately, that never happened. There was a party going on two floors below us with music so loud that we couldn't sleep a wink. The music went on until 12:30 AM. We started calling reception from 9 PM: 9:00 PM — "The music will stop at 10 PM." 10:30 PM — "It will stop at 11 PM." 11:30 PM — "We'll ask the organisers if they can turn it down." No real solutions were offered at all. No alternative room (even though the hotel clearly wasn't fully booked), no actual intervention — just empty promises. The only silver lining: reception told us the manager would speak with us in the morning at checkout to work out a solution. When we checked out at 6 AM, the manager was nowhere to be found. The "maximum" compensation we received? 30% off our restaurant bill a measly €10, while we spent €200 in total (including food and spa) for a completely sleepless night. When a hotel can't deliver on its core product a good night's sleep. all the extras (rooftop bar, spa, etc.) are worthless. A complete disappointment. Never again.

Super value hotel just out of the main hustle and bustle. Great room, great breakfast, great staff and with rooftop pool. The prices are slightly cheaper than the big hotels with  excellent customer service. I found all the staff very friendly and the breakfast excellent.

Everything about the hotel was quite nice. The service is great !

We’ve booked a 2-bedroom room and it is just perfect. Nothing to complain at all. Spacious and clean room. Everything is just right. Will defo staying here again. The only thing is that we hope the room service can be 24/7 or extend till midnight at least.
