Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles / Hollywood

The hygiene was generally poor, and the coffee machine had a lot of impurities. My feedback to the hotel was not taken seriously.

I only stayed one night. My room faced the inner side with a view of the swimming pool, so it was quiet and I couldn't hear any car noise. The hygiene was pretty good, no issues there. The location is within walking distance to the Avenue of Stars. The coffee at breakfast was a large cup, and the potatoes were delicious, but the kids' meal portion was very small and not enough. The air conditioning noise was quite noticeable; it seems to be a common problem as the AC in another hotel I booked was also noisy. As a transit hotel, it was acceptable.

This hotel was a bit of a letdown… It's actually one of Hilton's more budget-friendly brands, a Garden Inn. It felt like a Motel 168 (Home Inn equivalent) in China, but it cost 1700 [currency, e.g., RMB, USD]! Plus, it's inconveniently located on a hillside. It claimed to be within walking distance of the Walk of Fame, but it's actually a very hot 20-minute walk. Getting anywhere from here was a hassle. The hotel said breakfast was included, but it was just a $16 coupon for the Friday's restaurant. When I walked into the restaurant, it was completely empty except for this one Black woman who was chatting very animatedly with another guest. I went in, and she told me to wait. She genuinely just kept chatting, completely ignoring customers for a long time, until another guest arrived. I pointed out that she had been chatting for ages, and only then did she finally come over.

This hotel is truly excellent! The location is easy to find and super convenient for transportation. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was warmly greeted by the staff, and check-in was very quick. The room was exceptionally clean, with comfortable and soft bedding, ensuring a very sound sleep. The shower had great water pressure and the temperature was just right. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted delicious. It's also super convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping nearby. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

The location is neither too bad nor too great. The room size is quite large and having a microwave inside is convenient. It's clean as it was recently renovated. Overall, it was good, but I'm not sure if I'd go again.

This was my first time in Los Angeles, and I chose the Hilton. Claudia at the front desk provided incredibly thoughtful and welcoming service, which was a huge comfort to us since we don't speak the language and were completely new to everything. The room was well-equipped and cleaned meticulously every day. We stayed for a total of six days, and Bill, another staff member at the front desk, was also very attentive and always happy to help, leaving us with a great impression. Plus, the hotel's location is super convenient for getting anywhere. Highly recommend!

The hotel is in a very convenient location, about a 10-minute walk to the Walk of Fame. Friendly staff and good rooms. We didn't order breakfast, so we can't rate it.
