LOTTE CITY HOTEL JEJU AIRPORT

The hotel was very clean, and the environment was quite good. The only thing is the room was a bit cramped, so we had to put our luggage in separate areas. It's located right above Lotte Duty Free, with Olive Young, Paris Baguette, and a supermarket nearby. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I would consider staying here again.

This was my most satisfying stay yet. Check-in is on the 6th floor, where they also have a paid laundry and drying service – I spent almost 50 RMB to wash all my clothes. Downstairs, there's a free airport shuttle. The service was excellent, and there's a coffee shop upstairs. The first floor leads directly to the duty-free shop, and there's even a currency exchange machine right by the elevator on the first floor of the hotel.

Great value for money! There's a convenience store downstairs and Paris Baguette, so you have everything you need for food and drinks. It's on the same road as the Grand Hyatt, and a taxi to Shilla Duty Free is just the starting fare. If you don't mind the sun, it's even a nice walk. The pool has a great ocean view, but there's a charge to use it.

For my first trip to Jeju, I opted for a branded hotel, which was very convenient as it's located in the city center, right above Lotte Duty Free, and close to the airport. This saved a lot of travel time, especially on the way back when there were long delays for check-in, baggage drop, and security at the airport. The hotel breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety. I stayed in a sea view room this time, and it was great; I even had the good fortune to see a double rainbow 🌈. Very satisfied, highly recommend.

The hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, and there's a duty-free shop right on the 1st floor, which is very convenient.

I usually choose InterContinental or Hilton for my trips, but since there aren't any on Jeju Island, I had to go with Lotte. After comparing it with other hotels in the city center, I picked this one because I wanted a larger suite and good value for money. However, the check-in process had two bizarre experiences that truly shocked me. First, I went to check in at 2:55 PM, but they refused to give me the room key and insisted I wait until exactly 3:00 PM. My previous check-in experience at the InterContinental in Seoul was great; there was no such strict requirement to wait until precisely 3:00 PM. Second, my wife and child went shopping downstairs, leaving me with four pieces of luggage. After checking in, I asked the concierge to help me take my bags to the room, but they refused, saying they didn't offer that service. I then explained that I couldn't manage so many bags by myself and asked if a staff member could help me push them to the room. Again, they refused, telling me to take the bags to my room in multiple trips by myself. I was truly baffled! After getting to the room, another odd amenity issue appeared: the hotel didn't even provide glass cups for coffee or water, only three disposable paper cups. This completely blew my mind! Instead of calling this a four-star hotel, it's more like an apartment, and even apartment services are better than what they offer here.

The sea view room was quite spacious, perfect for a family stay. We were very satisfied.
