Sunshine Yi Hotel Haitang Bay, Sanya (previously a 1 Hotel)

Hello everyone! I'm a urologist from Siberia, Russia 🩺, and I'm currently on a vacation in Sanya with my lovely wife. We chose 1 Hotel Haitang Bay Sanya, and the moment I walked into the room, I literally burst out laughing—as a Siberian, I never expected to find a floor lamp made of real birch tree trunks and rusted iron in a luxury resort room on a tropical island! 🪵 This raw, naturalistic design is so stylish, a far cry from the cookie-cutter 'bling-bling' luxury. 🌿 A few details that blew me away: 1️⃣ Night views and the suspended pool: When the garden lights come on at dusk, they reflect off the water, and looking up, you see the transparent glass suspended pool. The atmosphere is out of this world, and every photo looks like a masterpiece. 2️⃣ Sky Bar (9th Floor): My wife and I went there for sunset cocktails, and the freshly grilled Japanese yakitori was exceptionally good (highly recommend the Angus short ribs and grilled oysters) 🍢🍸. 3️⃣ Heavenly service and breakfast at The Hive (Yichu): The front desk agent was super efficient—not only did she quickly sort out our complicated check-in, but when we returned to the room at night, a bubble bath was already prepared for us 🛁. And this morning's breakfast at The Hive was simply legendary—fresh ingredients and an incredible variety! We were completely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade—thank you to our butler, Minnie. We stayed at three different hotels this trip, and The Sanya Edition (Note: keeping 'Sunshine One' or translating based on context, but usually 'Sunshine One / 阳光壹' refers to a specific property like The Sanya Edition or similar, let's use 'Sunshine One' as a literal boutique feel, or keep it natural as 'Sunshine One') stood out the most in terms of breakfast quality and overall standards. The buffet dinner was also fantastic, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a wonderful stay experience, and we will definitely come back next time.

The room was cleaned very well, and the overall service attitude was also great. The toiletries provided were of high quality—I'm totally hooked and want to buy them now! The breakfast offered a rich variety with decent flavors, and getting to the beach was quite convenient.

The room is spacious with a well-thought-out layout. The hotel service is excellent; complimentary VOSS water is provided in the suite, and staff can help pick up food deliveries. The room amenities are extremely well-stocked, including mosquito repellent and various first-aid items. Great room view, and the bed is super, super comfortable! It's not a massive mega-hotel, but the scale feels just right and very cozy.

My recent stay at 1 Hotel Sanya was a thoroughly comfortable experience. The hotel's ambiance is wonderfully relaxing, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding is exceptionally cozy. The staff are warm, friendly, and prompt whenever assistance is needed, making interactions feel natural and approachable. Returning here to unwind after a day out really allowed me to slow down and enjoy the vacation pace. It was a very satisfying stay, and I would definitely consider coming back next time I visit Sanya.

The public areas have exquisite greenery, and the rooms are very clean and spacious. There was a lovely scent as soon as I walked in. I could see the sea right from the bed, and Wuzhizhou Island was visible from the left balcony. The right balcony had a small sofa, perfect for enjoying the cool sea breeze! I could even see the sea from the bathtub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our butler, Minnie, was responsible and attentive, always responding promptly to our requests. The Sky Bar staff were also lovely and spoke in a very pleasant manner. The breakfast was fantastic, and the freshly baked bread was delicious. Spending the evening at the pool was very relaxing, and it was generous of them to offer free inflatable rings. There was even a small speaker in the room, so playing music while watching the sea was an absolute delight! I highly recommend this room type; it's truly close to the sea! Overall, I definitely recommend it!

The breakfast offered a rich variety, with the freshly cooked noodle soups and desserts being particularly impressive. The pool water was clean, and the overall vibe was laid-back and comfortable. The whole family was thoroughly satisfied, and we would definitely come back again.

The hotel features a modern and innovative design, with standout amenities like the swimming pool and sky bar. The rooms are spacious and all come with private balconies—clean and very comfortable. The dining options are truly commendable; the seafood noodle soup with Zhaopo vinegar at the noodle bar is exceptionally delicious, and the breakfast spread is abundant. Although separated from the beach by a road, the hotel's private tunnel is equipped with elevators, making access to the beach extremely convenient. Every facility is designed with great user-friendliness in mind, and the service is prompt, warm, and attentive. It was a thoroughly satisfying vacation experience. Especially with off-season pricing, the value for money is outstanding. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a quiet location away from the main street, and both the lobby and rooms are clean and odor-free. The fitness and leisure facilities are adequate, and staff members greet guests at the door. Butler Minnie remembered guest preferences and answered every question promptly; such attention to detail made the trip much more relaxing. I will definitely choose 1 Hotel Sunshine again next time.
