The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan

The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from Universal Studios, which was a huge advantage for getting there early or returning to the room for a rest during the day. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, but free drinking water was not provided.

We chose this hotel for our trip to Universal Studios, and it's conveniently located not far from the park entrance, making coming and going very easy. There are plenty of dining options nearby, as well as Universal Studios merchandise stores. The day we arrived happened to be a Japanese holiday, so it was incredibly crowded. Check-in started at 3 PM, and we had to wait in line for a long time. The hotel is quite large and even has a Family Mart convenience store inside, which was great since we didn't book breakfast. We booked a city view room, but the front desk gave us a room on the 4th floor, so there was basically no view outside the window. For Japan, the room was quite spacious. Overall, it was convenient for accessing Universal Studios.

There's a direct bus from Osaka Kansai Airport to Universal Studios Japan for 1600 JPY per person. You can catch it at bus stop number 3, and it takes about 50-70 minutes. After getting off, it's just a 5-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel's location is fantastic, right outside the Universal Studios entrance, literally a 1-minute walk away, and it's also on Universal Citywalk. There's a Lawson convenience store right behind the hotel, and Universal Citywalk has tons of restaurants, including a Sushiro right downstairs. At the end of Universal Citywalk is the train station, making it super convenient to get to Shinsaibashi in just 30 minutes by train. The room was also very spacious.

The closest hotel to Universal Studios. Plenty of food and drink options right outside. The room was spacious for Japan standards. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special. The cute omelet didn't taste very good, but the salmon and avocado rice was decent.

The room was decent, nothing spectacular but perfectly fine. What truly stands out is the location. There's a convenience store downstairs and a shopping street, plus it's just a few minutes' walk to USJ. The variety of restaurants and eateries nearby is also fantastic.

I had a bit of trouble during check-in. Since I was with a friend at the time, and we weren't sure how many nights we'd be staying, we made separate bookings. However, because I booked two different room types, they wanted me to move rooms the next day. I even offered to downgrade, but that wasn't an option. So, make sure to double-check your bookings. In the end, the only solution was an upgrade, which I had to pay extra for. The hotel is close to Universal Studios, and even after the upgrade, the room wasn't particularly spacious. There are many other hotels in the area to choose from, all of which are quite convenient.

The location is great, offering views of the USJ entrance, and you can get to the park as soon as you go downstairs. The room is quite spacious for Japan, and the window view is nice. However, the facilities are very basic, nothing special. There's absolutely no Universal Studios IP integration; it's just a plain hotel, and you can't even watch Universal-themed content on the TV.

The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan boasts an almost unbeatable location, being one of the closest hotels to the park. From the room, you get direct views of the park and can even witness the lively 'door-busting' rush every morning. Downstairs, there's a food street, and with three Lawsons nearby, dining and shopping are incredibly convenient.

The hotel's location is absolutely amazing, right at the entrance of Universal Studios. You can see the Universal Studios entrance and the shopping street from your room. The room itself is very spacious, the largest we stayed in during our trip to Japan! Each floor has a water dispenser and a washing machine (one per floor), which is super convenient. It's luxurious and clean, and you can store your luggage. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting USJ!
