Ziquejie Terraces

Ziquejie Terraces is a globally important agricultural cultural heritage, a world irrigation engineering heritage, a national natural and cultural heritage site, a national scenic spot, a national water conservancy scenic spot, and a national AAAA tourist attraction.

Located in Shuiche Town, Xinhua County, Hunan Province, it belongs to the Fengjiashan System of the Xuefeng Mountains. The highest point is 1,585 meters above sea level and the total area is 120 square kilometers. Layers upon layers of terraced fields stretch around with Ziquejie as the center, between 500 meters and 1,200 meters above sea level, with slopes between 30 and 50 degrees, with a total of more than 500 levels and an area of ​​more than 100,000 acres.
