Pullman Zhangjiajie

The environment is elegant and the location is excellent. The service is top-notch. However, one request I made in my booking notes was overlooked. When I pointed it out, the front desk immediately corrected it.

Highly recommended! The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient to get around. The front desk staff are incredibly kind and attentive (especially Mr. Zhu Hao), patiently explaining and helping plan itineraries, and professionally answering questions about various travel routes. Additionally, the breakfast is plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the pool is clean and safe, making it perfect for families with children or for a romantic evening swim for couples.

The room was great, and the front desk service was excellent during check-in. The hotel has comprehensive facilities, and the swimming pool is especially large.

The hygiene was very good, and it was convenient to get to Tianmen Mountain. The breakfast was decent.

The room was spacious, with a minimalist design and sparse furniture, just a few small tables. The pool was also very good. If I had to pick a downside, it would be the hairdryer – it was incredibly noisy and difficult to use.

This hotel offers incredible value for money, even more economical than some domestic chain hotels at the same time – quite surprising! I initially booked for two nights, had a great stay, and extended for another night in the same room. My child didn't want to leave and spent every day playing with other kids at the pool. Overall, it's an established five-star hotel. I booked a 2.7-meter king-size bed, which is perfect for families with children. The breakfast was plentiful, with everything you'd expect. While having breakfast, I noticed almost half the guests were foreigners, either families with kids or couples. There are plenty of restaurants right across the street, making dining very convenient. The 'Charming Xiangxi' theater is right next door, but we weren't interested in that type of show and didn't go – but it might appeal to others. We walked back to the hotel from the Landmark Gate (East Gate) once, and it was a bit far, so I'd recommend taking a taxi. Choosing Pullman this time was a very wise decision; it's an older hotel but very well-managed overall. Highly recommended! Friends can consider it based on their own circumstances.

The quality of Pullman hotels is consistently good – quiet and clean. The service is also quite professional and international. The pool is very clean. The hotel's location is excellent, offering a peaceful retreat within the bustling commercial street. It's only about a 10-minute walk to the east entrance of the scenic area, near the iconic gate. I'd like to extend special thanks to Ivan Zhu from the concierge department this time. He not only patiently answered all my pre-arrival phone inquiries but also provided many itinerary suggestions and helped pre-book tickets for Wulingyuan and Tianmen Mountain, even hand-writing a tour route guide for me. Zhangjiajie is beautiful, and the people of Western Hunan are very kind. Best wishes!
