Hampton by Hilton, Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain

The hotel's location is unbeatable. It's right across from the shuttle bus stop to the mountain gate and the cable car down the mountain. There's also a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right outside, and a Ba Wang Cha Ji (another tea shop) and McDonald's not far away. I drove here, and the hotel offers free parking, both above ground and underground. You just need to scan a QR code at the front desk when you leave. The staff are professional and enthusiastic. The front desk even offers free shared hiking poles and fans for guests to take, and there's complimentary lemonade and tea in the lobby. If you order takeout, a robot can deliver it to your room. There's also a self-service laundry room, which is incredibly convenient for travelers. The accommodations were fantastic; the front desk staff even upgraded my room for free. Hilton's brand truly lives up to its reputation, and there were many international guests. The breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, with a rich variety, and the quality was excellent. A staff member even kindly reminded me to eat a good breakfast before heading up the mountain! It was a truly wonderful stay.

The location is excellent, right across from the Tianmen Mountain cable car entrance, so it's a super easy walk to catch the gondola. The breakfast spread was generous, and the hygiene was good. The service was particularly attentive; on the first two days, I noticed the cups felt a bit damp. After I mentioned it, they immediately replaced them and even sent up some fruit as an apology. Plus, they offered a complimentary late-night congee every evening. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The Hampton by Hilton truly exceeded my expectations. My stay was fantastic. First off, I was immediately offered welcome tea upon entering. Then, the room itself was incredibly clean and completely smoke-free. What really impressed me was the small basket on the vanity for disposing of packaging – no need to hunt for a trash can or clutter up the counter. That thoughtful touch alone earned it an extra 100 points in my book! Secondly, the food: the breakfast buffet had three different stations and a noodle bar, which is an exceptionally rich spread for a hotel in the 300-400 price range! Both Chinese and Western options were abundant and delicious. Finally, the location: just 30 meters to the left from the entrance, you can grab a Luckin Coffee (or some steamed buns to take up the mountain), cross the road, and you're right at the entrance to the Tianmen Mountain A-line cable car or B-line scenic shuttle. It couldn't be easier!

This hotel is perfectly located directly opposite the cable car, making it the best spot for visiting Tianmen Cave. The ABC cable car entrance is right outside the door. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and both the restaurant and room service staff are excellent. Highly recommended!

This hotel is directly across the road from the Tianmen Mountain cable car station, making it super convenient for getting around. There are also plenty of Sanxiaguo chain restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding is soft, and the staff are very enthusiastic. A perfect stay!

The Hilton hotel is great. The shower is Kohler, and while the room is small, it's well-equipped. The toiletries are good too. Breakfast is quite substantial, and Hilton's pillows are the most comfortable. The bed is just the right firmness, and the duvet is soft without making any crinkling noises.

Fantastic hotel! Around 11 AM, just before I left, I received a call asking for my arrival time so they could arrange a pick-up. I told them I was driving from Sichuan and wouldn't arrive until after 7 PM. They also informed me that my booked room faced the street, with a construction site across the road building until 10 PM. However, the soundproofing was actually quite good, so it didn't really bother me. When checking in, I asked if I could get a little extra time for parking, and they immediately gave me two days, even though I was only staying one night. Next time I'm in the area, this will be my first choice!
