Hampton by Hilton, Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious, staff were friendly and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely consider staying again when we are in the area.

Hotel is just in front of Tianmen Mountain Cableway. Staff was really friendly. Because we could not finish our Mountain experience, they let us to check out late at 3pm.

One night stay. Perfect location for Tianmen Mountain Cableway. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast from 06:30am was good because I wanted to be at the cableway for 08:00am. They have free laundry service which I did not use, however, it is good that they have it. Free luggage storage which I used after check out when I went exploring in the mountain. I recommend this hotel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely wonderful stay – highly recommended! I had a fantastic experience at Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and genuinely helpful. Travelling through China as a foreign visitor can occasionally come with little language challenges, but here I felt completely looked after. The hotel itself is modern, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. My room was spacious, beautifully maintained and a wonderful place to come back to after a long day exploring Zhangjiajie. The bed was extremely comfortable, everything worked perfectly, and the overall standard of the hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is also excellent, particularly if you are visiting Tianmen Mountain. Being right across the cable car It made sightseeing so much easier and took a lot of the stress out of planning the day. What really made the stay memorable, though, was the hospitality. The staff went out of their way to assist whenever I needed something, despite the language difference, and always did so with patience and a smile. That kind of genuine service makes an enormous difference when you are travelling alone in another country. I have stayed in many hotels during my travels, and this was one of those places where I felt both comfortable and genuinely cared for. Excellent value, excellent service and a hotel I would happily choose again. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay in Zhangjiajie such a lovely one. ❤️🇨🇳 Highly recommended – an easy 5 stars from me!

My partner, our friends, and I spent a memorable two nights stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly lovely and friendly, going way beyond our expectations.The only downside was the lack of standard dining room service, but since there are plenty of dining options nearby, it wasn't a big issue at all.We would definitely love to return soon. Thank you to the Hampton team for making us feel so at home!

I absolutely loved the hotel. It was the best stay in my whole trip in China. The room was very large, comfortable and clean. The bed was firm enough and I slept very well. Very high quality breakfast also. Excellent value for money. The staff at the reception is very helpful and willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Special thanks to Clara who is super nice.

Unbeatable location for Tianmen Mountain and outstanding service!This hotel is in the perfect location for visiting Tianmen Mountain. We literally just had to walk across the street to catch the Line A cable car, which made our transit incredibly easy.The receptionist was super helpful, guiding us away from the typical tourist traps and recommending a fantastic local restaurant that we loved. Another huge plus was their flexibility—the hotel stored our luggage for a few days while we ventured out to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, and they have a great lounge to relax in before catching a flight.Highly recommended for convenience, hospitality, and great amenities!

This hotel truly became one of the most special parts of my trip. My entire trip was dedicated to celebrating my birthday. Even though a few days had already passed since my actual birthday, the hotel team still made such an effort to make me feel special. When I entered my room and saw what they had prepared for me, I honestly burst into tears. They had made a beautiful birthday cake out of towels — and, believe it or not, it was the first birthday cake I saw during my entire trip. It was such a simple but incredibly thoughtful gesture, and it touched me more than they probably realize. They also upgraded my room for this special occasion, which I truly appreciated. The entire staff was exceptionally kind, warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely incredible — extremely rich and with an amazing variety of food, with several large tables filled with different options. I also had an issue with a taxi during my stay, and this is where I especially want to mention Jessica, the manager. She personally came out to help me, and she was absolutely wonderful. I sincerely hope the hotel management knows how valuable she is. She is incredibly hardworking, professional and genuinely caring, and she has a special ability to make guests feel welcome, comfortable and cared for — almost like they are at home, even when they are thousands of kilometres away. This hotel didn’t just provide me with a room; they created a beautiful memory that I will carry with me from this trip.
