The room layout is very well-designed, especially the bathroom. The shower, bathtub, toilet, and vanity are all separate, each occupying a corner. The bed is particularly large and high, making for a very comfortable sleep at night. The bedding feels luxurious, and the duvet is just the right thickness. You can walk out onto the balcony, which feels like being on a cruise ship, with lush greenery visible below the window. Although there's a highway nearby, the soundproofing of the windows is excellent. The gym has a wide variety of equipment, and the indoor pool is decent. However, the outdoor pool is smaller than expected and was packed with kids. Breakfast is noteworthy, with delicious desserts and a wide range of ingredients. I really hope to find a five-star hotel that caters specifically to adults, offering comfort and relaxation, rather than focusing on family-friendly amenities. The hotel is within walking distance of Suzhou Center, a massive shopping mall that was overwhelming; almost every restaurant had a queue even after 8 PM, showing its immense popularity.

We stayed with our child, and when we mentioned it was their birthday, the hotel decorated the room and even provided a birthday cake! They also upgraded us to a high-floor room with a window. The service was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. It's an older five-star hotel, but the facilities and environment are still good. The hotel isn't too far from the Oriental Gate subway station either. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience.

The hotel has a wonderful ambiance, and all the staff I encountered were incredibly polite. The restaurant server was especially warm and attentive. My 29-month-old son really wanted a banana that he saw at a neighboring table, but the fruit at the buffet had already been changed. I asked a staff member, and to my surprise, they brought one over very quickly! Overall, the attention to detail in their service was evident everywhere. Next time I'm in Suzhou, I definitely have to stay here again! 😄😄

The breakfast was plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options. There was a good variety of bread, and I particularly enjoyed the dirty bread, muffins, waffles, and blueberry tarts. They also had iced coffee and cold brew tea available, which is great for those who aren't keen on traditional Chinese breakfast. The front desk and room service were excellent. Any issues I brought to their attention were resolved quickly and to the best of their ability within their scope, significantly enhancing my stay. Later, due to itinerary changes, I moved to a Marriott, and I honestly felt it wasn't as good as this hotel. I regretted not adjusting my plans to stay here one more night. The hotel's design is also beautiful; both the interior and exterior look classically elegant at night. It's also convenient for a night tour of Jinji Lake. The only minor drawback is that while the TV has apps installed, they couldn't be used, and there was no screen mirroring function. I'd suggest the management look into improving this. Next time I visit the Jinji Lake area, this will definitely be my first choice.

This is one of our two kids' absolute favorite hotels! 💙🩵 The whole hotel feels like a giant cruise ship docked by the lake. 🚢 The moment you walk in, you're hit with that relaxed vacation vibe. Even though it's been open for a few years, the facilities are incredibly well-maintained, and there are little scenic spots perfect for photos tucked away in many corners. 📸 What the kids always look forward to most is the pool! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️ Ever since they fell in love with swimming, they've been dreaming of coming to this hotel just for the pool, 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️ and the Crowne Plaza is always their top choice! 🏨 The pool is divided into indoor and outdoor sections. The outdoor one is right next to Jinji Lake, offering an expansive view and even a glimpse of the nearby Gate of the Orient – truly a superb view. Unfortunately, it rained both days we were there this time, so the outdoor pool was temporarily closed, and we could only swim indoors. What I personally love most, besides the hotel itself, is the pathway right next to it that runs along Jinji Lake. Taking a leisurely stroll there in the early morning or evening, with the lake breeze, is incredibly relaxing.

I'm reviewing this hotel right after checking out, and the Crowne Plaza Suzhou clearly lives up to the standards of a high-end hotel. Its location is a huge plus – easy to find with convenient transportation, and surrounded by everything you need for sightseeing and dining, saving you a lot of travel hassle. The hotel's ambiance is sophisticated and upscale, with spacious and airy common areas that are clean and well-designed. The landscaping is meticulously maintained, making for a relaxing and un压抑 experience. The cleanliness is exceptionally thorough; the room was deep-cleaned, with no dust accumulation on windowsills or in cabinet crevices, and the bathroom was spotless and dry. The bedding was clean and soft, making me feel completely safe and comfortable during my stay. The service was consistently excellent throughout. Staff members were proactive in greeting guests, check-in was swift, and requests were handled promptly. Everyone was courteous and thoughtful, not just mechanically going through the motions. Service, location, ambiance, and cleanliness all get top marks. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Suzhou. — Scallop Dolphin

I frequently stay at this hotel. Its location is exceptional with stunning views. The front desk lady was very friendly and gratefully upgraded me to an executive suite. I had some free time in the afternoon and wanted to grab a coffee at the executive lounge, but the young man there informed me that the upgrade was only for the room and didn't include executive lounge benefits, which was a bit disappointing. I paid over 1000 yuan for one night, and a cup of coffee wouldn't cost much. However, the breakfast was excellent, and the room was very comfortable.

Brought my child to experience this hotel, and the room arrangement was excellent and very satisfying. We had a beautiful view of the Gate to the East and Jinji Lake, which made our stay delightful. The kids' play area downstairs is also very large, spanning two floors, and my child had a fantastic time. We'll definitely come back next time! Starfish dolphin fish

I was really happy with my stay this time. Everything was arranged perfectly, from the room to the breakfast. First off, the room had a small balcony, which was perfect for enjoying the beautiful views. The location was also excellent. This room was definitely worth booking, and I especially appreciated them checking in on my experience after I'd checked out. I'll be back next time! Scallop Orange
