Hotel Puntazo II

The hotel, which is across the street the road from the beach was clean and tidy . The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room on the second floor was clean and large. The facilities at the hotel were of a good standard. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. We would definitely return.

Just had a 6-night break here through Focused Events for a motorcycling track event. We stayed in the Punta del Cantal apartments, whilst basic, were spacious, well appointed and clean. Included a fridge and kettle as well as a living area with sofa, chairs and table and a large terrace balcony as well as Juliet balcony. We had B&B but chose to eat in the restaurant in the evenings too. Fantastic value for money! Staff make you feel like you’re old friends visiting their home, nothing is too much trouble and they remember everyone day in day out despite a change over of guests every few days. Highly recommend staying for Circuito de Almeria!

Just had a 2.Night stay at this hotel. It was very nice and friendly staff. Well kept grounds and pool. Last min booking so expensive but didnt care. Lots of amenities around to keep tou busy

This is a great hotel in a great location. So easy for bars/restaurants and also so close to the beach. I will definitely go back to this hotel

We chose to spend a few days away somewhere in Spain we hadn’t yet visited. As we both had had a couple of busy weeks we opted for a holiday resort for some relaxation. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Check in was smooth and efficient and we only had to walk a few metres from where we had parked on their car park (the outside one is free and you pay €12 euros for the underground one if you choose to). The rooms were spacious and very clean although a bit 1970’s in design but perfectly adequate and the beds were comfy. The location itself was perfect with plenty of restaurants and bars a stone’s throw away. The bus (linea 1) to the old town was just over the road from the hotel and €1.20 each way. The bus stop on the way back was about a 4 minute walk past the hotel. We stayed from Wednesday to Saturday and the first couple of days around the pool were very quiet and relaxing with the bar staff visiting frequently to take drink orders. From Friday it got a lot busier and noisier around the pool but not to an unbearable level. There was entertainment every evening we were there with a female singer the first night. A male duo on the Thursday evening who were very good and got a lot of people dancing. On Friday they had a dj playing club music which was personally our scene. Breakfast was good- can’t comment on the evening meal as we didn’t take it. Staff were all lovely and very friendly and helpful. Waiters and waitresses were constantly looking to ensure that you weren’t waiting for anything. In all it was a pleasure to stay there and we will definitely visit you again. Just back from a long weekend with friends, had a great time hotel staff very friendly and helpful food choice excellent and good quality bedroom a little tired but very big will definitely be returning.

Good locatio, Fairly basic rooms, clean and tidy. Sea view room is a stretch, its sideways on to beach so not directly over looking the beach. Major problem is there is no useable shower on second floor rooms, we tried 2 different rooms and same problem, shower goes from cold to scalding hot so impossible to use, in fact very dangerous if young children were involved. Staff would not accept there was a problem and would not come to room. Not a good experience at all

I cannot express how amazing this hotel is!!! We stayed in the economy part of the hotel, although the decore is tired it gave us everything we needed Fresh pristine white linen sheets and towels everyday Superbly clean Staff absolutely amazing, nothing too much trouble Pool area was sublime Breakfast a little overpriced at 12E per head but fantastic, everything you could want and more Cannot fault this hotel just across the road from the playa! We will definitely be back next year Bravo Hotel Puntazo!!!!
