Polar Oceanarium is the main pavilion of Qingdao Polar Ocean Park and a very popular stop in the park. Polar "residents" such as beluga whales, dolphins, false killer whales, polar bears, sea lions, seals, and penguins all live here, and there are also separate exhibit areas for Arctic foxes and Arctic wolves. Starting from the glacier scenes and polar expedition stories in the Polar Hall, passing through the Nordic-style Viking tribe, and then to the underwater world area, walking along the route is like touring both the North and South Poles and the deep sea. Here, you can also watch animals like beluga whales and dolphins dancing in the water. The exhibit areas are also worth exploring. Over 10,000 deep-sea fish swim in the underwater tunnel and large display tanks, with sharks and rays often gliding slowly overhead. The area in front of the beluga whale tank is also a popular spot for capturing photos of beluga whales poking their heads out to interact.

Show More ReviewsStepping into the exhibition hall, a cool breeze carrying the faint scent of salty seawater greets you, instantly shutting out the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Huge acrylic tanks unfold along the visitor path, with colorful corals in the shallow water area swaying gently with the current.
