Ling Nan Impression, located in the southern part of Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center (Xiaoguwei Island), is surrounded by water on all sides. This attraction integrates intangible cultural heritage displays, cultural experiences, leisure entertainment, captivating performances, specialty dining, creative shopping, and family-friendly tourism into one comprehensive destination. The park delves deep into the characteristics of Lingnan architectural culture, folk customs, and water town traditions. Through self-operated development, cooperative ventures, and brand licensing, it creates distinctive Lingnan cultural IPs and innovatively designs related products and experiential offerings. By connecting with surrounding tourism and commercial resources, it combines excellent traditional Lingnan culture with emerging formats to promote creative transformation and innovative development, breathing new life into traditional culture. Following the directives of municipal authorities, Ling Nan Impression accelerates the transformation and upgrading of the tourism industry. Aligned with Guangzhou's vision of "Old City, New Vitality" and the "Four New Highlights" initiative, it aims to become a new landmark showcasing Lingnan cultural characteristics in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The attraction features distinctive streets, ancestral halls, residences, and shops that fully embody the essence of traditional Lingnan culture. With its typical Lingnan architectural complex, the park highlights authentic Lingnan culture and rural landscapes, recreating vibrant scenes of folk life. Catering to the growing trend of lifestyle-oriented tourism around major cities, it meets diverse travel needs by offering a complete Lingnan architectural experience, profound folk culture, and rich rural charm - blending cultural exploration, sightseeing, countryside retreats, and leisure entertainment into one grand cultural tourism destination. Ling Nan Impression serves as a window for modern visitors to understand ancient Lingnan culture, a fertile ground for locals to reconnect with their roots, and an immersive classroom for outsiders to quickly grasp the essence of Lingnan traditions.

In line with the provincial and municipal governments' requirements for "four new achievements and brilliance" and "new vitality for old cities," we aim to enhance Guangzhou's comprehensive cultural strength, elevate its cultural leadership, promote the Lingnan culture brand, strengthen cultural confidence, and actively advocate Lingnan culture. By leveraging technological innovation, we are building a smart attraction and striving to integrate into the "Window of Lingnan" Guangzhou Cultural and Tourism Integration Innovation Demonstration Zone. Through strategic partnerships with leading Lingnan art education institutions, cultural organizations, and social art groups such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Promotion Association, the Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Association, the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, the Municipal Cantonese Opera Theater, the Quyi Troupe, and the Puppet Theater, we have established master artist studios and organized various cultural exchange activities, including lectures, study tours, and cultural forums. These efforts significantly boost the brand appeal and credibility of Ling Nan Impression. By applying for certifications such as the Intangible Cultural Heritage Demonstration Base, Provincial Arts and Crafts Heritage Base, Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Base, and Municipal Primary and Secondary School Study Practice Education Base, we are transforming Ling Nan Impression into a hub of Lingnan culture and a benchmark for Lingnan cultural tourism.
